She was such a delight to work with, asked for nudges, had so many great ideas, it was really inspiring. Seriously, this would make a fantastic graphic novel. Some daaaaay, maybe...

Eeee thank you for the high res version! I could really see all the frosty details and how you'd built up the trail of snowflakes/flakes of ice. Funny how we'd both done a prompt where Sam (or Jared)'s eyes were blank white. I love how your pencil drawings have the boys in a more exaggerated, angular style, and I may have become slightly fixated with Dean/Jensen's knee in the bird pic - which is my fave.

I had sooooo much fun with Jensen's bare leggies! Hell, bare feet in general. Feet are a pain, but I wanted to challenge myself to work with them.

I've been getting more interested in exaggerating drawing lately, in part because it's just more expressive. I mean, striving for realism is cool and all, but I feel like a lot of people do realism really, really well. But only I can do ME. So the challenge is to stylize my drawing but still remain believable and accurate.

Did you see illiminal's RBB art? Just thinking about elongation and exaggeration that is also distinctly stylistically recognisable. Though I would say your style is already there, particularly for original pieces and fanart. I'd never have had you pegged as a photo-realism kinda gal! :D

YES, I LOVED IT. (I seem to remember 'liking' it on tumblr but I need to leave a comment yet.) I also need to read zuben's fic that goes with it, yaaaasssss...

And thank you! I mean, I toyed with "photorealism" briefly, but abandoned that pretty quickly because it just wasn't giving the viewer anything new. I respect photographers enough to consider their creations valid artwork in and of themselves.

So, I couldn't wait until after I've read the fic to take a peak at these because I knew they'd be divine and so I spoiled myself it was worth it!!!

I loved the original piece with the snowflake gif, and that icy white-eyed Jared/Sam, and beautiful portrait of Jensen/Dean - and what a wonderful art/writer collab partnership, I can't wait to get stuck into Cleflinks fic!!!!

And then you treat us with beautiful hand drawn sketch of each character, and they're just beautiful!!! You've captured so much detail, and I espcially the birds and Jared's pose. The blood-red in the last one just stands out so much in a perfectly horrific way.

It's such a sweet story...I'm not all the way through it yet--we both worked up until the 11th hour--but that's making it all the more fun for me now!
