I was so honored and stoked that the uber-talented, hard-working, brilliant
cleflink snagged my art for the
spn_reversebang ! She was such a delight to work with, asked for nudges, had so many great ideas, it was really inspiring. Seriously, this would make a fantastic graphic novel. Some daaaaay, maybe...

It was fun to give ye olde pencils a go. I didn't wanna be photorealistic, and it's not as easy as it seems. With digital, you can fiddle until you get it spot on, but it can lose a lot of life. I wanted that handmade, old school look to the little inner illustrations. Now, I've just gotta work on putting backgrounds in. *cough*
You're waaaaay too kind. But thank you again! *smiiiish*

It's been such a delight to work with you, hon, and agh, I just love everything SO MUCH. Your work is always so ethereal and gorgeous, and it took some courage on my part to throw my hat in for your prompt, I'm not gonna lie. There was something so compelling in your prompt, I just couldn't pass it up (even though I clearly had too many ideas for what to write about it)! Any one of your ideas would've rocked like the dickens, no lie. And I was stoked as hell when you picked me! Your world-building is without compare. Again not lying. You were NOT a pain! Please. You were just the perfect author for this art, and I was lucky lucky lucky!
Thanks for being so flow and such a damned good writer, lady. AND DON'T EVEN TEASE ME ABOUT A GRAPHIC NOVEL.
Graphic novels are a helluva lot of work, especially to make all the characters look like themselves for multiple pages, and perspective, and design, and...I tried to do a little one with monicawoe and ended up giving up (it was ALL ME), but it still niggles at the back of my brain as something I wanna do. With your writing? And your world-building? Ur mah gurrrrd...
We should ponder this. We should!
