It has been a long long time since I've been on live journal. But I'm in a period of my life where I'm doing a lot a re-evaluating. And one of the things I feel that I've been missing is a sense of real connection. And, as much as I enjoy Facebook, it really isnt a way of connecting with people in a true way.

My school is in the middle of the plague.  Only, curiously, I seem to be unaffected.  In a school of 7 teachers, 3 called in sick today.  One other was sent home.  Over a half dozen kids are home sick.  And another 10 or so are coughing up a storm ( Read more... )

I didn't get the job at COSI.

I don't know why.

I got a form letter reply.  After over 10 years experience there, I got a form letter email.  I don't think that my time there should guarantee me a job by any means.  But I had hoped that it would get me more than a form letter.

I don't get it.
