Summary: Gavril's hosting a BBQ for the garden's older girls and adults, booze will flow like water and monster meat will be served up fresh(ish).

Despite promising to come, Larry's still a little hesitant about it. The monsters seemed to have been more intelligent than the average game animal, even if they are safe to eat. Plus, it's Gavril, and she's terrifying.

She's happy with the drinks, though, so it doesn't take long for her to have a little whiskey and start poking cautiously at the meat.

With the event's food mostly prepared and booze chilled, Gavril has taken to chatting up the cook-outs various guests for no other reason they she loves drinking in the aura of fear people tend to exude while in her presence.

"Hey, enjoying the food?"

An aura of fear she gets, though only just barely. Larry doesn't expect an attack from Gavril, at least. "I'm not really sure what to try first. I mean, I don't exactly expect it to taste like chicken."

"I'd start with the harpy then, it tastes kinda like chicken."

If anyone was grossed out thinking about eating monsters, that was their problem. Adventurers lived off them on a daily basis and with the right work, they tasted good! Kris passed up on the alcohol but she had a plate full of food and had no hesitation there.

Gavril was more then happy to see someone so eager to eat near-human creatures and her face says as much.

"Have you eaten something like this before or something?

"All the time! When you go on adventures, you can't carry a lot of food with you so you have to eat what you kill." And there were monsters aplenty out in the wilds where she was from.

"I like that idea~ Same thing comes up alot in my work, though I rarely get a chance to eat monsters."

She was told there'd be plenty of alcohol around, and after being treated to wine at every fancy event held in the Gardens, Prussia was thankful for straight up beer.

...And for not having to dress up, for once.

A skewer of meat in hand, she nibbled on it absently as she wondered where her date was.

After a few moments of wondering, Prussia was tapped on the back by England. She was wearing a go-go outfit, complete with dress and high boots. This was the fashion that was popular from her time-period, but England hadn't had an opportunity to wear something like it.

"You made it," she said, pleased. Since the dance, England had felt really good about their relationship, and she didn't mind showing it off to the public.

"And pass on the offer of real booze?" Prussia said around a mouthful of spiced meat. She swallowed in a show of good manner.

"You look happy," she noted, trying to puzzle the reason for England's excitement out.

"Why shouldn't I be?" England asked as she ran her finger down Prussia's arm. "I have beer, meat, and the strongest and most clever girlfriend at this party." Alright, so perhaps she was blatantly stroking Prussia's ego. But she was really happy! She meant every word, and she figured it was alright to be honest once in a while.

Nue was still a little unsure about this whole "mosters eating monsters" thing-youkai were supposed to eat humans, not other youkai, after all!-but she had told Gavril she would come, and so she did. She quite literally floats around the party, her odd wings not flapping no matter how long her feet remain suspended above the ground, sticking her nose here and there and generally taking in the unfamiliar sights of this "BBQ."

Gavril approaches the floating girl with a smile on her face, partly because it was good to see more people come and a little bit because she wondered how the new girl tasted.

"Hey! What's up youkai-bitch?"

Nue glances up as Gavril approaches, some uncertainty flickering across her face at the nickname. But... Well, she supposes it isn't so bad, and that's just how Gavril is. She lets it slide, her expression quickly shifting into a broad smile as she finally sets her feet on the ground.

"Oh, not much~. There's nothing really exciting to do in this place now that the monsters are gone."

On that note- She eyes the meat that has been laid out. "Are you sure this is all safe to eat?" She's much more concerned about the fact that she might be eating the youkai equivalent of a globefish than the fact that this meat used to be a sapient creature.
