[Amamiya picks the girl out from across the dance floor. One could hardly miss those braids, after all. She crosses directly towards her, wearing a modest light blue dress.]

Hello, there. I don't know if you remember, but we spoke earlier, over the Vine?

[OOC: Amamiya's had a drink of Fruit Pinch that is making her want to slow dance.]

Hello...

That's right, I remember. [It would have been hard to have forgotten that story.]

You seemed a bit lonely over here, so I thought I would drop by. Enjoying the party?

It seems nice, and the decorations are very pretty... [Though she's somewhat distancing herself from it, feeling more like an observer than a participant so far.]

I guess the Queen is capable of nice things too.

She always has been. She's just not very consistent about it.

[The music's taking a turn for the slower and more romantic, and Amamiya's attention perks up, and tugs at Homura's sleeve.]

Hey, want to dance?

[The question catches her by surprise.] D-Dance?

...I don't know how to do that kind of thing...

I don't really, either, but there's no time like the present to learn.

M-Maybe someone would be willing to teach you...

[Amamiya just pulls her towards the dance floor. She wants to dance now.]

Oh, let's just do it!

Eh? [She comes along out of not wanting to offend the girl, though not without confusion. Why pick her?]

[gentlecuteside]

[The answer is really 'because you were there', Homura. Amamiya spins around on the dance floor to face her. Her right hand lay on Homura's waist, while her left reached out to take Homura's left hand in it.]

[heartovertime]

[And Homura looks even more uncertain as the girl takes ahold of her. She doesn't know what to do really, and watches her partner for cues.]

[gentlecuteside]

[Amamiya takes quickly moves Homura's hand up to her shoulder - she knows that much at least. Her hand then returns to the other girl's waist.]

Like that, I'm pretty sure.

Oh, I see... [Unsure of what real she could even say, she keeps her hand where placed and falls silent again.]

[Amamiya's pretty unsure what to do now, too. Looking around at the other couples, she follows their lead and starts sort of shuffling around in a circle, moving in time with the mus--oh she just stepped on your toe.]

[Homura winces slightly at that, particularly having open-toe sandals, but fortunately her Soul Gem dampens the pain a bit.
