She definitely is not leaving her on her own for the trip, though. Might have difficulty leaving her alone for a while, now, has her own guilt for what she saw Jackie experience on the vine, when she was out. They cannot be together all the time, but she told herself she would protect the other woman, and she'd failed. She won't make the same mistake again.
She lets Jackie set the pace as they walk, quiet and patient, keeps close in case the other woman needs to lean on her. Her illness has not been physical in origin, Dominique knows that, but that doesn't mean it hasn't had physical effects.]

Not that she says as much, just leads the way to where Sephiroth had told her the building was. She tries to ignore her own weakness, but weeks in bed with little food did not do much for her frail constitution and she begins to drag her feet, inevitably, even if she refuses to sit down and stop.
She can sit when they get there. So what if she is pale and leaning tiredly into Dominique's side by the time they come to ring the General's doorbell?]

She opens the door at once, all formality, nodding politely to both women.] Good afternoon.
[She gestures for them to enter. She notes Jackie's weariness but does not offer comment.] Have a seat. [She expects Reeve will be there momentarily, having heard them enter, but she doesn't call for her--Reeve can arrive if and when she wants.]

[Jackie says this quietly. There is something incredibly comforting the General's formalities. Perhaps it wasn't much of a secret why Jackie found herself in the company of so many soldiers, when their restraint and calm were something Jackie thrived on.
She is perfectly happy to take a seat, however. Still, she didn't really come just for mindless pleasantries.]
I had hoped to collect on what we talked about. [She glances at Dominique.] Dom is just the escort.
