Melia's hyperspeed greetings mutationisgreat March 3 2011, 20:24:42 UTC
Under the effects of the Passionfruit Delight, Melia's normal outgoingness is even more intensified. She moves around at almost hyper speed, greeting and hugging and flirting with everyone in sight (the flirting only with those of adult age). In short, it is almost like she is under the effects of the other chocolates all at once.

Setsuko had a delicious strawberry creme chocolate earlier... so what she's doing when she suddenly gets a hug? She (somewhat awkwardly, as if she's trying to fight it) smiles and hugs back.

Somewhere deep inside, she's screaming at herself and telling herself to stop this nonsense.

"Why, such beautiful hair!" Melia could not stop herself from stroking Setsuko's hair. "Come on, feel free to enjoy yourself."

"Thanks," Setsuko's smile became more sincere(?), though that might have just been the chocolate, "You're uh... really green?"

Wait, just what is she looking at right now? She thinks that, but she's unable to actually voice it.

"... it's a nice color," she adds.

Why is she saying these things to somebody she just met?!

Everyone sing together! mutationisgreat March 3 2011, 20:25:21 UTC
Now Melia is trying to encourage guests to sing, attempting to assemble a chorus to add music to liven up the proceedings. Now and then she breaks into a few notes to egg them on.

There are really no songs that Fela knows all the words to, but she laughs, her face lighting up, as she is asked to try, and hums a few bars to appease their hostess.

"I would have to be taught in order to do better than that."

"Here, you can follow my lead." Melia breaks out into a traditional song used for such dedication occasions, welcoming Zephyr into the new temple.

"Are you quite sure?" Grell asks, giggling. "I can try, but I'm not spectacular..." She does like singing, though, and she does have an idea as to what would be a perfect song for the occasion.

You know that one girl that kind of nervously hovers around the food trying to avoid any attention (and also compulsively stuffing snacks in her face)?

That's Jessica right now.

Occasionally, to look like she's not a nervous bag of awkward, she makes sure the food is tidily arranged and the area is clean.

Jolyne wanted to get laid. She wanted to get laid real bad. Problem: she was straight, and there were no men in sight.

(At least, she was pretty sure she was straight; In her current state, some of the women were looking pretty good to her. She ignored it as best she could; She knew it was just the chocolate having its way with her and didn't want to do anything she'd regret later)

She was also avoiding the booze for the same reason mentioned above. The last thing she needed right now was a further lowering of her inhibitions.

"This sucks large," she said as she popped her first morsel of food into her mouth.

She paused, looking down at her plate with her eyebrows raised. "Shit, this is good!"

"Why, hearing that warms my heart. I must convey your regards for their skillfulness to the ones who helped with that dish."

Melia slid some juice Jolyne's way. Religious reasons? General preference not to imbibe? A desire to avoid intoxication? A good hostess does not pry.

Jolyne grabbed for the juice. "Bit spicy, though," she said by way of explanation, taking a great big drink.

"What is it, anyway?"

"A roll I prepared with some manner of lizard I found in the arena, assorted greens, and a touch of pepper and garlic inside."
