Two years ago, I was close to another pilot. He died for our sins, as it were, and left Archer to remember him by.

No, he isn't. I learned a long time ago that I couldn't raise him alone. Between Sara and the Anchors, he'll be safe.

I... won't dispute that. It's more that I'm sizing them up for Anchor potential that worries me. Been fighting too damn long if that's the first thing I think on meeting someone who has my... a friend.

Your world sounds very complex, very dangerous. Are dreams important? What do you mean by things from the blizzard?

That's right, you're new here.

There was a blizzard a few weeks ago. Monstrous creatures of shadow and light used it to attack.

And yes. Back home, we discovered that dreams were actually... well, a linked world, with points that could go back to the Waking. Like how Yukari uses her gaps, I suppose.

So you could travel through dreams? And use them for fighting? You just need an 'Anchor'?

I've spoken to Yukari, but I don't know anything of 'gaps'.
