[Bonnibel had been walking for some time now. The sun was high and warm in the sky when she had started out, and now it had just slipped past the horizon. Her legs and feet were sore hours ago, and now she was also starting to get hungry

[That voice. There was something that was definitely familiar about that voice, even if there was something just a little too light about it. Either way, this was a damsel in distress, so of course she needed to do something about it!]

[Oh boy. Finn and Jake again? Looks like it was time for things to get all confusing again.]

'Scuse me, milady! Did you need some totally righteous heroes to help you out?

[Might as well make a good impression, riht?]

[A voice pulled PB from her previously scheduled sulking. A voice that sounded almost like one she knew, but really not quite.]

"Yeah, I really think I could use some righte-"

[Bonnibel looked up, and paused mid sentence. There, standing before her was a blond haired human that looked remarkably like Finn, if he had bazoobs and larger ears for his hat. At that exact moment Bonnie figured it all out. Every little piece fell together, and the puzzle was complete. LSP must have slipped her some psychoative chemical, and this was all a great big feverish hallucination! The Cosmic Owl would probably show up later, and make things really interesting.]

"-ous heroes... Finn? What's going on here, Finn? Is this some kind of joke?!"

[She paused, rubbing her eyes until she saw little stars and sparks.]

"No, you're not Finn, are you?"

┫Caught up in the excitement of the hunt Marceline bounds around Fionna's feet, drifting to an abrupt as all get out stop as she tries to make head or tails of the situation. Yeah, that voice is stupid familiar.┣

"Yo, Fionna! What's the hold up?"

┫Swatting the snow and hair out of her eyes she pokes her head over Fionna's shoulder.Putting two and two together sometimes takes Marceline a few seconds. The voice she heard earlier and the globs of pink belonged to one woman!┣

"Bonni!?"

[Well this was going to be interesting. She knew this much: wherever Marceline that was sorta like Marshall Lee was from, so was Princess...Bonni? Really? And she was supposed to be like Prince Gumball, she could see that much: they even looked alike.]

Uh, hey, um, Princess Bonni? I'm Fionna, and I'm a hero!

[Bonni spun around quickly at the sound of that voice. Half expecting it to be as misleading as the voice that wasn't Finn's, she was almost surprised to see that it really did belong to Marceline that Vampire Queen. Seeing Marceline here, wherever the lump they were, she felt a lot of things in succesion, some all at once. And then she settled on feeling very relieved to see someone farmiliar

┫After forcing down a swallow Marceline waves, doing her best to keep a straight face. How weird is that? She was just thinking about Bonnie and she showed up! Cue the guilt, ladies and Adventurers!┣

"H-hey! Yeah,you have the who right! The where, we can get into in a second if it's cool?"

┫For all the reasons to feel guilty why was she feeling so awful about being so gal pal with Fionna now that Bonnibel is here? Well, if that didn't sting being left hanging for a hug sure did! Arms falling to her sides Marceline gnaws on her bottom lip, eyes on the ground.┣

"Fi? Uh, Fionna. You know how I mentioned Princess Bubblegum? Yeah, this is her."

┫Why is this suddenly so awkward?! She turns to Bonni and nods in agreement, Fionna is really like a certain boy adventurer. Suddenly self conscious, and a lot colder due to the sudden snow, Marceline wrings her fingers. Silent a second she eventually snaps out of it.┣

"What're you doing here? Are you alright, Bonni?"

[It was definitely awkward. Marceline and...Princess Bubblegum? They knew each other, and she was just some weird, not Finn gal. Heck, they were even going to hug and junk. Or she thought they were anyway. What was up with that?]

"Yeah, Marceline was filling me in. There's a Finn where you guys are, right? Um...I'm not sure how this is, but my name's Fionna, and I live with Cake in the land of Ooo. So uh, I'm Fionna, and I'm supposed to protect you."

[Awkward, but true.]

"Soo...what do you want to know?"

[Bonnibel looked away from Marceline, feeling rotten that the little canceled hug made her look so crestfallen. But, then again, another part of her felt so empowered that she could actually affect Marceline so much! A therapist. After this was all over what she really needed was a therapist. Or two

┫It so isn't the time to feel the way she is feeling! How is it that you can be happy one second and on the verge of tears the next? Well, she is that happy to see Bonnibel again; however, she is that hurt by being left to hang. She isn't going to show it, she will never show it! No one makes her feel like gum being scraped from beneath a shoe! No one! Not since..him

[Whoa. Major tension. And one of the good things about NOT being Finn was that she could see it even if neither of the girls were talking about it. Knowing that, though, meant she knew enough to stay out of it for now: she was still a stranger to them, and it would be hard enough just trying to adjust to wherever this place was.]

"Yeah. We just got some papers and stuff about it. I talked to a bunch of girls here too, and they all come from these other places, same as us. The Queen that brought us here is totally whacked, something about fostering relationships or some biz. No one seems super happy about it."

[Say no more, Marceline. Fionna had been known to pull Prince Gumball out of a tight spot this way, and did the same with Princess Bubblegum: she picked her up bridal style, looking unperturbed, and started walking.]

"We're trying to get some food now though, and then we have to find out about magic dirt!"

[PB just felt guilty when she saw Marceline all crestfallen, but then as soon as she heard her say, Princess like that it all changed. Princess! Now she was upset, and intent on not relenting. That was, until she saw Marceline drying that bat nose of hers, then she had a little trouble staying upset. She gave Marceline a quizzical glance, one that looked a little apologetic. All that tension couldn't be helping the situation for anyone, right

┫Man, anyone else seeing things umfold might think that there was something lurking in the water under the bridge that is Marceline and Bonnibel's friendship. Isn't it normal for the occasional strong emotion to come bobbing to the surface?! Yeah, perfectly normal! Busy, but not busy enough, swabbing at her nose she catches the glance that PB threw, Marceline shrunk back and gave an apologetic shrug. Yeah, being this way doesn't help the situation

"See, no one can figure out this pervy queen. She just brings you here and watches you and stuff. It's weird, like we're little ants or somethin'. Bur according to this paper stuff, there are all these places you can go too, so I'm not sure why we're here. Also, in my world its the Ice Queen, and she kidnaps dudes."

[Which made Fionna pout a little, apparently not noticing the language the other girls are talking for the moment. It still sucks, not having Cake here and having to read and adventure without her. They were a team. But she knew if Cake were watching, she'd want her to press on.]

"W-what the hay? I was just helping her out dude! I'm a hero, remember!"

[Oh yeah, the dirt.]

"It's at the edge of this garden: you're supposed to make it into whatever you want. I need to make the tree fort again. You guys can come if you want."

[It was just as normal for a glance and a shrug to carry on the message of 'It's okay, we'll talk about this later, so I can properly apologize for being a butt to you out of nowhere, Marceline.' right? Of course, sure why not! Giving Marceline a sad little smile, and then letting out a sigh Bonni put the whole issue aside for now.]

"So what, this invisible, untouchable Perv Queen tries to get us 'together' just so she can watch the whole thing? That's so unbelievably gross and way creepy! And wait just a minute, you have an Ice Queen?! Where in Ooo do you live? The parallels are getting to be quite interesting!"

[Bonni shuddered just talking about it! This made the Ice King look like a sad and almost harmless old man! And wait, what was that about an Ice Queen? Curiouser and curiouser. Then, looking up to the sky Bonnibel called out as loud as she could without being a bother to Fionna, who was kind enough to tote her around.]

"Hey Queen Butt! You're hearing this right now, right? Why don't you go chew on a turnip and let us

┫If there is one thing that the girls have it is later. There are more important things at hand, like not freezing or starving to death! That would be a pretty pathetic and anti-climatic way for this whole shindig to end! Marceline stops rubbing her nose raw and smiles her usual fangy smile.┣

"I was told that even if you're careful this Queen will find a way to get you. I don't know what kind of kicks she is getting out of this but what I do know is that you have to wake up pretty early in the morning to pull one over on us girls from Ooo
