[Bonnibel had been walking for some time now. The sun was high and warm in the sky when she had started out, and now it had just slipped past the horizon. Her legs and feet were sore hours ago, and now she was also starting to get hungry ( Read more... )

[That voice. There was something that was definitely familiar about that voice, even if there was something just a little too light about it. Either way, this was a damsel in distress, so of course she needed to do something about it!]

[Oh boy. Finn and Jake again? Looks like it was time for things to get all confusing again.]

'Scuse me, milady! Did you need some totally righteous heroes to help you out?

[Might as well make a good impression, riht?]

[A voice pulled PB from her previously scheduled sulking. A voice that sounded almost like one she knew, but really not quite.]

"Yeah, I really think I could use some righte-"

[Bonnibel looked up, and paused mid sentence. There, standing before her was a blond haired human that looked remarkably like Finn, if he had bazoobs and larger ears for his hat. At that exact moment Bonnie figured it all out. Every little piece fell together, and the puzzle was complete. LSP must have slipped her some psychoative chemical, and this was all a great big feverish hallucination! The Cosmic Owl would probably show up later, and make things really interesting.]

"-ous heroes... Finn? What's going on here, Finn? Is this some kind of joke?!"

[She paused, rubbing her eyes until she saw little stars and sparks.]

"No, you're not Finn, are you?"

┫Caught up in the excitement of the hunt Marceline bounds around Fionna's feet, drifting to an abrupt as all get out stop as she tries to make head or tails of the situation. Yeah, that voice is stupid familiar.┣

"Yo, Fionna! What's the hold up?"

┫Swatting the snow and hair out of her eyes she pokes her head over Fionna's shoulder.Putting two and two together sometimes takes Marceline a few seconds. The voice she heard earlier and the globs of pink belonged to one woman!┣

"Bonni!?"

It was totally weird just how easy it was to go from feeling junked up to laughing and just hanging out! In all seriousness and truth, they were like buds without even trying. At first Marceline thought that having Fionna around was just going to be plain strange, like she was some replacement for Finn that she hadn't asked for. However, after the hella cray cray circumstances and mood swings were pushed aside for a moment she came to feel that Fionna wasn't strange or a replacement! Fionna was this wicked funny and awesome hero chick, someone that she could call a friend. As for Princess Bubblegum? Well, those realizations would take a bit longer to sink into the Vampire's brick thick skull.

"Do not think that because you are soft and pink that I will go easy on you! I will win the favor and the hand of Ser Fionnaghal! Prepare yourself you cad!"

She kept the same rhythm as her dancing, moving back and forth as her finger rapier clashed with Princess Bubblegum's Prince Bubblegum's! Glob!It had been forever and a day since she had ( ... )

"Prince Bartley Bubblegum of the Parliamentary Monarchy of Dessert is an accomplished alchemist I hear! And an avid lover of dudes!" She giggled at that bit. Bonni wasn't quite sure why she made Bartley a lover of the guys, but it didn't stop amusing her! "And, well, yeah I usually had the Princess Plant do my hair for me, since it's such a pain in the lumps to cut. Do those even grow here? Oh cabbage, guys, what am I going to do if they don't?"

Her time around LSP left a definite influence in the form of Lumpy Space vernacular. It's not just for yelling at the queen anymore! All this talk about hair caught her attention. There was something she was forgetting. Something about hair, something like. That"Ah. Hmmm. That reminds me." Everything was easily warm enough now to be molded back to being even on both sides. She slid her fingers through it for a while, shifting it around, and was done. No one would ever know that a chunk was taken out of it! No one except the person that the chunk was given to, of course ( ... )

Man, there was definitely a lot going on between Marceline and Princess Buttercup. Fionna knew, and thought that even Finn would have known, that whatever was going on, they would have to come upon it themselves. She did wonder if this might have been why Prince Gumball was so adamant on keeping her a bro, but who knew? Liking people, feelings and all that junk was something she just didn't deal with anymore.

But there didn't need to be much more anything said: she watched the two pf them banter some more, than laughed and sat by the fire, watching Princess Bubblegum at work to make them some awesome food.

"Friendship Feast is perfect!" Fionna said, laughing. "It's food, we're eating, and were friends, right? I mean, I really like you guys a lot!"

And she didn't even turn red: she could say that easily.

"What do you know about dudes loving dudes, Bonbon?" Asked and said with Marceline's usual teasing tone, her serpentine tongue dancing between her teeth. She was going to pay Bubblegum back for that little "smooth" comment that she made not to long ago! She was going to pay her back in full..uh..later. Yeah, later for sure. "Sand or birds, probably Bonni!" She hadn't thought about princess-ly hygiene at all, oops.

Being uprooted, it does things to people. The list of what these things were was long and thus tedious to read! Then again, probably just as much (if not more so) tedious to read into--like what was going on around Fionna then and there. As a once far from wise yellow dog once said: Women were twisty! Hm, on second thought how short sided that was! The truth was complicated, however simple the phrasing is: Feelings were twisty! People without feelings and insecurities to wrestle with tended to be straight forward; however, once you added in emotions things were junked to all flip flop! Feelings lead to emotions, emotions ( ... )
