Vine

So, it's probably fairly obvious that the current predicament is connected to the flowers. I know some of you are tearing them up, but I don't really see why we should be aiding our captors in maintaining our prison.

Why not let them grow and see what happens?

[ And once the Warrior Princess hears of Lithuania's idea over the vine, she goes to find her.

She appears behind Lithuania without a sound. ]

That's not how you kill them.

[Lithuania turns smoothly. The robots will keep working at the task anyway.]

You're right.

Have you not thought about what will happen to everyone if you let the Gardens fall apart?

I'm tied to the life of my people.

[Therefore she won't die, at least. And should be able to pinpoint the location of her home, once the influence of the Gardens are gone.]

[Kuja hears the message on the Vine and finds it of interest, although she doesn't respond right away. Instead, she thinks it over. It's unlike anything else she's heard proposed.

Later, she finds Lithuania in person, flying in from overhead and landing gracefully. In her post-storm explorations, she's found a mount to replace the dragons she's accustomed to.]

I believe your plan has merit. I'm willing to assist you.

[After their short library conversation. Lithuania is a bit surprised to see the woman offering assistance. Also, what in the world is she flying on? Well, it's no stranger than Leafeon or anything else in the gardens.]

I'm simply moving the plats for now, somewhere away from those trying to kill them.

[As Kuja is frequently rude as a matter of course, she doesn't attach much significance to their previous conversation, or see it as a reason not to consider Lithuania's plan on its own merits.

However much she might find the plan intriguing, however, she is not going to dig in the soil. She glances down at her slender hands with their long, purple fingernails.]

I could easily cloak the blooms in an illusion, so that they cannot be seen to be destroyed.

That would do quite a bit to help, in case the others get overzealous in protecting this place.

[Her tone says she can't understand why anyone would want to stay.]

[Utena looks tired, and her blue eyes are very bright against the pallor of her face.] You're right. Why should we help them?

Exactly. I certainly don't intend to be their gardener.

With everything that's happened since I've been here, I bet they planted them in the first place.

I'm not sure; why would they want to destroy their own garden?

I'm glad at least a few do. Everyone can't be so attached to this place.

Don't see why, the place itself is boring and run by fools. Some people are okay, but that's not the achievement of this place itself.

This place seems entirely haphazard; I'm not sure even they know who they're bringing here. And I have work at home besides.

Yes. [Her tone sounds almost friendly. You know. If she weren't Russia.]
