[ Today, Sebastienne has found herself in a...interesting place. She's just outside the arcade, arms by her side, and a satisfied smile on her face. Yes, she's been playing Drifting Afternoon for the past few days. Why do you ask? Still, despite the smile, she does how something to say ( Read more... )

[she's looking at the area behind this woman curiously; arcade? What exactly did that mean? But she puts that aside for the moment, since the words were what caught her attention in the first place.]

Someone else "leaving"? I'm guessing this happens often...

[she drops her gloved hand from her chin after a moment.] But I can empathize with that a little. Being uncertain of what to do after losing the one you serve, I mean.

It does. [ Sebastienne's answer is flat, because, well, it's the truth. Sometimes ladies are here for an even shorter amount of time before they "leave". ] Disappearing might be a better... descriptor for it, but leaving sounds much more pleasant. [ A simple smile. ]

... [ Is she uncertain though? Well, never mind that. She needs to clear her mind, first. ] Would it be presumptuous of me to assume you, too, serve someone, ma'am?

I did, once. It's a little complicated. Most people might think it's strange, but I miss it. [even if her charge was a whiny, spoiled brat for most of her life.]

[ Huh. So is she like the Princess' maid...? ] You miss it? Why is that? [ Sebastienne is still pretty dense when it comes to humans. ]

Oooh~! Did I hear someone say they're a servant without a master?

That is correct.

How convenient! I know of a Queen and Demon Lord completely out of servants!

[ Yeah, no, she doesn't serve what she isn't going to eat, eventually. ] My apologies, but I am completely devoted to My Lady. [ ... That and the whole Demon Lord thing sounds pretty dicey. ]

[Video games are one of Zinc's one true loves, and she has shambled her way down to the arcade to investigate. The zombie pauses to stare at the 'maid' curiously as she addresses the vine.]

Your... owner, was here?

Owner is a mite cruel word, if you'd allow my brazen wording, ma'am. [ Sebastienne cannot be owned. One can't be owned by something they view as below them, can they? ] I worked for the Countess. With, some would say.

[Zinc shrugs quietly, doesn't care for semantics.]

It's only cruel, if you are unwilling. [Zinc loved her 'owner', nearly as much as she hated him.] What work did you do?

Many things. I am... [ She pauses, fingers halting for just a split second. Ciel's currently MIA, so in technicality... ] I was her personal servant. The head maid to the Phantomhive Estate, that is.

[First she watches. Then she turns off the Vine.

Ladies of Beaumont, you are treated to some utterly gleeful and crazy laughter for about five minutes.

Then, she turns back on the Vine, taking care to disguise her voice when she speaks. Why not use Victoria? Monotone, breathy, and innocently sweet. Her final tribute to that little brat.]

Oh my...I'm truly sorry to hear that, miss. It's always unfortunate when people leave you...

Was she good to you? Your mistress, I mean.

She was. [ Probably? I mean, she was troublesome, but hey, even a troublesome cow can pay off in the end, if only for it's meat. ]
