Second target ❖video

[There's a grunt, muffled as much as can be and the thwump of a body clad in robes joined by the metallic rattle of weapons as Ezio rolls to take the impact out of the fall following her jump. It is hard to ignore any sort of pull to home and while Rome is not a true home, she has been settled there, working and training and striking at her ( Read more... )

The opposite of cooking is fighting, riiiiiiiight? [ pauses ] Are we allowed to do that? I was under the impression that we'd get into trouble or soooooooomething. Not that I really care about any dumb punishments from that Queen, but everyone else is so stuck up!

Not always but in this venue then the only other thing that could have been a greater opposite would be if it was populated by medici. I have not heard of punishments from this queen though; perhaps you could tell me more piccola

[[ooc: medici - doctors, piccola - little one.]]

More piccola? Waaaaaaaait, are we talking about food again? I've never even heard of that dish.

Piccola means small one, it is...it is something you would say to one you do not know well who is younger than you. Last I heard, it is not food. If you do not wish to be called it, would you give me a name then?

[Rude watches this curiously. That kind of city crawling was more Reno's deal than her own, but not completely foreign. They were a slightly different kind of assassin, besides.]

There's probably someone willing around.

Would you be interested at all?

[If you don't ask then you'll never know after all.]

[She quirks an amused eyebrow.]

Yeah, I might just be.

Forgive me, I am Ezio Auditore, and you?

I believe there is some law against hurting one another, here, but I don't believe it applies to training. Nor do I know how it is enforced.

There are always laws against such things - perhaps more strictly enforced but in a garden where the queen wants to bring us together, I did not wish to assume.

Not always.

[She came from a place where people were murdered daily. The only time any sort of questions were asked was when it was a soldier or related that had been killed.]

I believe some people lived in the arena, but the bedrooms are far enough away, from what I recall. There shouldn't be any objections, people have already discussed sparring in the past. [A slight tilt of her head.] I would not advise the utensils for weapons, however.

Guardie will follow their own rules but they must have good reason to disobey the rules of state.

[Assassins to those who have not seen them with their own eyes most likely do not exist. Stories of guards who imbibed a little too much wine before they took up their posts or whatever else.]

They lived here? I suppose it is not too strange - even in the crumbling ruins of Roma, people lived there. [Because they had no home after the Borgia destroyed their lives but still, they had shelter at the very least.] I...I will bear that in mind. Even if the butcher knife is a very popular weapon for the gangs of thieves in Italia.

[Sephiroth is always pleased to hear of a potential sparring partner, even when distracted by other concerns.]

If you would like to spar, I would be willing. I frequently train near my Headquarters, but I believe we can have have a practice bout wherever you'd like, as long as no bystanders are endangered.

Grazie. [She doesn't want to go rusty while she's here.] I promise that as long as the bystanders do not get too close - my blades have a long reach - then they will not be harmed at all.

Where and what would your headquarters be?

It would be my pleasure. The reach of my blade is long as well, and I take great care not to injure anyone.

My Headquarters is a building near the Orchard, and I train outside, where there is a large, open area. My name is Sephiroth, and if you ask the cats where Sephiroth's Headquarters is, they can take you there. They know it well.

I am Ezio Auditore then. [The look on her face is hard to describe when she hears about asking the cats because no, she doubts she will ever quite manage to become used to them being the bearers of information.] I will come look for you and your headquarters with the add of these...cats.

[She watches the broadcast with interest. Each of Ezio's movements catches her eye as they seem to work together like an art-it's something she's never seen, even from someone like Cray.]

I don't see why a little training couldn't hurt-after all, it's better to keep your skills than lose them when you need them best, right? It's not as if anyone will be seriously hurt.

[Oh if only she could have seen just how many learned to do such things with varying degrees of success.]

If I have been taught one thing in my life, it is that one must always be prepared, even when they think their work is at an end. And I can promise that I will not intend to injure anyone at all and I am very good at keeping my word.
