[There's a grunt, muffled as much as can be and the thwump of a body clad in robes joined by the metallic rattle of weapons as Ezio rolls to take the impact out of the fall following her jump. It is hard to ignore any sort of pull to home and while Rome is not a true home, she has been settled there, working and training and striking at her

The conflict is there on here face, annoyance around her dull eyes, sadness on her full mouth.]
I was told there is food, at the arena. Meat. Have you seen stores?
[She'd find her way there to look herself eventually, could only abide hunger for so long, but traveling around the large Garden remained slow and difficult on her own.]

I have seen... [and she pauses because what has she seen? She has seen things that would sound absurd, even to drunkards but then again, they have cats to serve as messengers.] I have seen bears that would not grant me passage but I have seen them with slaughtered animals I recognise and some that I do not.

Good.
[She'd read such a description in the pamphlet Jessica had given to her, but it had, of course, sounded absurd. Ezio was in the arena now, and Zinc was a bit more willing to trust what she sees.]

[She's still very caught on that, along with wishing she had names for some of the things she has seen, animals that look like the delusions of an artist rather than anything real.] I have been lucky enough to speak to some already, it is a welcome surprise, I worried I would not have a chance to keep my skills sharp.

I've known many warriors in my time, and in my experience, they are eager to do what they know best--but then, that is just as true of poets or cooks or anyone with some great skill or passion.

Bears, it was my understanding would try to kill a human for meat too. I am sure any cook would not want one near their meat. [It seems unclean - it's a wild animal after all. But she does laugh, even if she did not expect to.] Perhaps you are right on that account.
Everyone wishes to perfect whatever it is they would call their art.
