I think the difference is that getting stabbed in the chest is almost certain to put you into shock immediately...

Speaking of which, are you quite alright? Normally wounds heal when you appear here, but it's hard to tell with all the blood already on you.

Yes, that's right! Shock is much more comfortable than being too beaten and bloody to move, haha. But thank you, I'm fiiiiiiiine! I just brought a lot of the blood in with me. I must've fallen in a pool of it!
