[So, dem robots that just left? Yeah, they wrecked Yamame's web at some point. So, if you happen to be in the Orchard for any reason today, you might come upon Yamame doing either of the following things:]

[Nepeta was doing some prowling later in the evening, when the sun wasn't so bright. Being a nocturnal creature, she still wasn't use to how bright this place could be and was always grateful for nightfall.

She's running around through the orchard, playfully chasing around some animals when she sees the spider building its web, and stops to start for a moment in fascination. Spiders are Vriska's domain as far as trolls go, but she still thinks its pretty amazing how they can build webs]

[It's a big spider, too. Human-sized, in fact. Though, considering what it does next, maybe its huge size isn't so surprising.]

[When it sees Nepeta, it pauses for a moment. Then, it lifts one of its front legs-and wiggles it in the air in what can only be described as a spidery wave. It speaks, too, its voice odd and distorted but still distinctly similar to the one Nepeta would have heard when she spoke with Yamame.]

Hi! What are you doing out here?

[Oh my you were...a big fellow, weren't you? Nepeta tilted her head to the side. She had definitely never seen one quite that big, and she's surprised when it waves at her. When she hears the voice, however, it clicks and she grins widely]

Yamame? Hi, hi! It's me Nepeta! I'm just doing some prrrowling!

[diseasing]

That's right! [She waves again, then scuttles back to one of the more complete portions of the web, apparently putting repairs on hold in favor of talking.] Oh? Did you find anything interesting?

[Was just passing on by...]

Times are tough?

[She lets go of the thread she was struggling with, wiping her hands off on her skirt as she turns around to face Alice. She's pouting.]

Some of those stupid robots went and tore through my web.

[Apparently, it wasn't strong enough to capture them.]

I'm not exactly surprised, they did wreck a bunch of stuff.

[She huffs a little.]

Even if it's not surprising, it's still not very nice.

[Zenobia is continuing her hobby of exploration when she sees the web. She pauses and stares at the spider for a moment, first in surprise, and then in awe when she realizes who it is.]

Is that you, Yamame?

[diseasing]

[She lifts one of her front legs and waves. Her voice is a little odd sounding when she speaks, but it's still recognizably Yamame's.]

Yep, it's me! What are you doing out here, Zenobia?

[Zenobia is actually finding this experience a little more weird than she thought she would be, seeing Yamame's true form. Even as a spider, she's pretty in her own way, but Zenobia tries to keep the image of the cute girl in her mind.]

I was just exploring. There's still a lot of this place I haven't seen, and I realized I hadn't given the orchard a proper looking-around.

So, you doing some redecorating?

[diseasing]

This place is pretty neat, isn't it? It's a lot prettier than the Underground was, and I bet it's nicer than the inside of a mirror, too.

I guess that's one way to put it! Still, it's not because I wanted to. Some of those robots that were everywhere just went and broke right through my web!

[Oh hey there giant spider girl Jessica is going to stand back and watch you for a bit because NATURAL MAGNIFICATION HELL YEAH.

[And then remember her manners.] Hey, Yamame. I'm guessing our visitors did a number on your house?

[diseasing]

[Yamame is okay with this. Since Jessica seems intent on just watching for a little while, she only spares a wave before going back to work. It's only when the question is asked that she stops, and there's a noise that absolutely sounds like a frustrated huff before she responds.]

They tore right through my web like it wasn't even there!

Kinda scary, huh? Glad you didn't get hurt. I'd offer to help, but...

[diseasing]

Yeah, kinda... At least I wasn't on the web when they did it. Maybe they would have gone around if I had been.

[She laughs a little at Jessica's next words.]

Oh? Well, I appreciate the thought! I already finished tearing down the parts that needed to be torn down, though.

[...She can't go anywhere without the garden fucking with her, can she. She had thought, at least, that the Orchard was safe, that she could go out and get some food to bring home rather than relying on others for everything.

Apparently not. As she rounds the trees and sees the spider, she takes in a loud, shocked gasp, freezing.]

Jesus christ.

[That thing is huge...]

[Upon noticing she has company, Yamame pauses in her repairs and lifts one leg, waving it as cheerfully as a spider can manage. Her voice is equally chipper when she chirps out a greeting.]

Hello!

[Jackie gives the creature a very uncertain and clearly disdainful look. The friendly voice thing is surreal, but she probably just shouldn't be surprised.]

...I don't really talk to spiders.

[diseasing]

Oh. [Her tone sounds a little hurt, but not exactly surprised.] I can look like a human, if you'd like that better.
