[Oh hey there giant spider girl Jessica is going to stand back and watch you for a bit because NATURAL MAGNIFICATION HELL YEAH.

[And then remember her manners.] Hey, Yamame. I'm guessing our visitors did a number on your house?

[Yamame is okay with this. Since Jessica seems intent on just watching for a little while, she only spares a wave before going back to work. It's only when the question is asked that she stops, and there's a noise that absolutely sounds like a frustrated huff before she responds.]

They tore right through my web like it wasn't even there!

Kinda scary, huh? Glad you didn't get hurt. I'd offer to help, but...

Yeah, kinda... At least I wasn't on the web when they did it. Maybe they would have gone around if I had been.

[She laughs a little at Jessica's next words.]

Oh? Well, I appreciate the thought! I already finished tearing down the parts that needed to be torn down, though.

They might've... they don't seem violent, just... bad at not messing things up at first. Some of our walls got kinda gouged a little before we could distract them into not destroying the place.

I expect I wouldn't be able to tear them down, anyway. I'm not exactly strong or anything.

[diseasing]

I guess... They didn't really give me time to teach them not to break spider webs, though. [Just barreled right on through.]

Yeah, they weren't exactly considerate...

Well, then again, maybe they were, just... they have a different kind of considerate. They do think really differently.

You think so? I guess that makes sense. I don't really know how a robot would think, but non-humans think differently than humans, so it makes sense that robots would think differently than non-robots, too.

Very differently. I'm kind of interested in studying them sometime. Probably after everything gets back to what passes for normal up here, of course.

Well, they're gone, right? That means the incident is over, I think. It shouldn't take too long for things to go back to normal, in that case.
