dead bodiiiiiies aren't much fun (trala)

This year at the fair they have a dead bodies exhibit. And. Some of it was interesting? For instance, I have no idea why but the brain looked a lot smaller than I expected. And the lungs looked larger. The entire room smelled--despite ALL THEIR SIGNS explaining the smell to be fresh paint, I know what paint smells like and what formaldehyde smells ( Read more... )

I could have probably told you what it was....but Im not sure I would have went in, I've already been to a gross anatomy lab, its not news anymore. anyway luv, I doubt anyone could be attracted to anything after that. it will be ok <3.

A lot of the full-bodies were sort of artsy, which was more interesting than the bits and pieces behind glass. Aaaaaaaaand yeah, as long as i don't think about any of it, I'm fine. YUP. Fine. (ick ick ick)

This makes me think of NCIS, when for the first several seasons, the corpses in Ducky's... lab?... had a really bright light shining on the crotch so as not to offend viewer sensiblities. Now they use a simple towel. I used to wonder if the person was completely naked, and if the other actors could see past the bright light because they were standing close enough. It bugged me for a couple of days, and then I thought, "I don't even want to know."

Haha ohhh maaaan, right?? I always assumed they had like privacy stickers or something, but i'm glad they've switched to a towel. For the actors' sake if nothing else. ;D
