You should just move here. I can set a room for you in my closet (which is actually kind of big) or, we just got a futon (that's hard as a rock) but it's a queen so that's something, right? And you could tag along with me to work and walk through all the places Neal and Peter walked through-- OMG THAT GAVE ME AN IDEA! I have to walk all over there tomorrow bc my job hates me (and I it) soooo I CAN TAKE PICTURES OF ALL THE PLACES I RECOGNIZE FROM THE SHOW FOR YOUR JEALOUSY YOU! I can try to find the hat shop (which doesn't actually exist but the location's there somewhere). Best plan ever y/y?
And I'll have a fancy camera with me bc I'm gonna be playing at being a photographer for the graduation so the pictures will be high quality and when my boss asks "why are there all these shots of streets?" I'll tell him "For Klu" like that makes all the sense!
Omggggg do it! For the eyecandy of Matt Bomer being Matt Bomer if nothing else--the plot is fantastic, the characters are ace, it's funny it's smart i JUST LKSDJFLDLKF
I'm so glad you also thought that Maya looked like El, too. I thought my shipper goggles might have been playing tricks on me, BUT NO. OUTSIDE CONFIRMATION. I CAN LAUGH MORE NOW AT HOW MUCH THIS SHOW SHIPS IT'S CORE TRIAD.
No, but seriously, you left out the part where Peter's boss was like, "if you go after Neal, I couldn't protect you.... BUT I'D UNDERSTAND." EVEN PETER'S BOSS SHIPS IT.
I was basically internally screaming any time Peter was on screen because WOW, THIS SHOW IS NOT. SUBTLE. ANYMORE. And I love it!
RIGHT?? I kept thinking about that thing Peter says about his own affinity for smart leggy brunettes (aka NEAL AND ELIZABETH) and just, ffffff, NEAL. DO YOU REALIZE THIS IS A THING WHAT YOU ARE DO
I just can't with that part, that his boss acknowledges that Neal could be/is more important to Peter than Peter's career and then says GO FOR IT (BASICALLY), because he knows Peter+Neal solve cases but also because he knows Peter WITHOUT Neal is going to feel like he's stagnating, and he needs Peter to keep doing what he does.
I was choking back some outward screams, and i'm not usually a vocal person when I watch shows, but just. YOU COULD SEE EVERY MOMENT PETER WAS MISSING HIM. I didn't think I would be able to make it through the scene where Peter and El are doing a stakeout and Peter's bitching about Neal because HE'S NOT EVEN CONVINCING HIMSELF, jfc i can't
EVERYONE WAS SO AMAZING IN THIS EPISODE. I CAN'T STOP FLAILING ABOUT IT AT EVERYONE, EVERYWHERE, ALL THE TIME.
I loved Neal and Peter's phone conversation, I mean, is there any way to read that other than the conversation of two people who were in a serious romantic relationship and just broke up? THE WORDS THEY WERE SAYING. THE LOOKS ON THEIR FACES.
AND THAT HUG. Just prior to the hug, from the moment Peter hears Neal's voice, the way they were acting, I was like JUST MAKE OUT ALREADY and then the Hug happened and my brain completely decomposed into AAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWHHH FLUFFY BUNNIES~!! <333333 That was a seriously excellent hug. Best TV hug I've maybe ever seen. It was a very long and clingy hug. ...And then they try to play it off at the end with all the manly back-slapping, OH BOYS
( ... )
THAT PHONE CONVERSATION. ALKFJALKDFJLDSFJLSDKF. BECAUSE NEAL IS SO SAD, HE THINKS IT'S GOING TO BE THE ABSOLUTE LAST TIME HE'LL EVER TALK TO PETER OR HEAR HIS VOICE, AND PETER KNOWS IT ISN'T BUT HE WANTS NEAL TO HAVE PARADISE A LITTLE LONGER, UGH JUST THIS SHOW
that huggggg. I'll be so honest, I wasn't expecting a hug and i don't know why, it makes so much sense but i was caught up in the hands-off motion neal made and then alkldsakfjlkdf I HAVE NOW REWATCHED IT SO MANY TIMES, EVER SECOND, JFC.
If someone doesn't write roleplay!El-as-Neal/Peter fic I will do something drastic, see if i WON'T
I felt like i needed me one of those mimosas afterwards, just. fffffffff
