Everything you've said here, along with the fact that when Peter had to pick a picture of Neal to use to find out where he was, did he pick the mug shot from prison? Or the picture of him for his FBI ID? Or did he pick the FREAKIN' PROM PICTURE OF THE TWO OF THEM SMILING AND SO TOTALLY IN LOVE IN TUXEDOS?!
