Last night after a really weird day, writing club and I crashed the second midnight showing of Magic Mike--there were maybe ten people in the place. But their advertising sucked.

ANYHOO, so the movie was surprisingly interesting? And I find I have stuff to say about it, soooo under the cut it goes.

I went in completely neutral about Channing Tatum. I came out a rabid fangirl. Holy shit, he's pretty! AND a much better actor than I thought.

HAVE YOU SEEN 'THE EAGLE?' Channing is so damn good in it and i just, okay, special weird fondness in my heart for that movie, but you should give it a try if you haven't seen it yet! :D

IT WAS. SOMETHING? LIKE I LITERALLY COULDN'T MAKE MY EYES UNDERSTAND THAT IT WAS HIM FOR A FEW SECONDS. BUT UM. YEAH. HE WORKED IT. AND THEN HE JUMPED ON A DUDE AND SAID "AMERICAN BALLS IN YOUR FACE HAHA" AND My brain just kldflgsldkg

My embarrassment squick is REEEALLY HIGH, and I made it through this movie just fine! Mostly because the stripping scenes were more like dance numbers? YOU CAN DO IT RAH RAH RAH
