Also there's James Mcavoy playing Macbeth, if this isn't enough incentive

I used to watch that very very silly Eleventh Hour show just for him.

Typical pretty boys don't do much for me at all, but Rufus, yeah. Beautiful.

RUFUSSSSSSS!

I have such a gigantic crush on him, ever since I saw him in the BBC miniseries Middlemarch, and oh, he and Shirley Henderson are so good in Shakespeare Retold. PLUS: SO DAMN PRETTY IN LADIES' CLOTHING, OMG.

Ooooo! I haven't even heard of Middlemarch! Brb, putting it on my Christmas List. He plays so many bad guys, it was amazing seeing him be a crazy ass goofball, I loved it. AND YES, INCREDIBLY UNBELIEVABLY PRETTY IN A DRESS.

Oh, really? I like him as a good guy and don't know of Middlemarch either.

I take it you've seen Dark City? In which he's definitely the good guy and is nekkid in the very first scene?

You know what's crazy? I have never seen this movie or know anyone who has, until just recently when a newly-made friend said it is one of her favorite movies of all time and we made a plan to watch it together this weekend and here you are pimping it out in a way that makes me super-excited to watch it - with guys in drag. <--surefire way to get me excited about anything.

Oh my GOD, SERENDIPITY. Make sure she shows you Taming of the Shrew, okay? Because that's the Shakespeare: Retold this is from--there's four short movies: Taming of the Shrew (v. funny), Much Ado About Nothing (also funny), Midsummer Night's Dream (not my favorite version but still cute!), and Macbeth (which will rip your still beating heart from your chest but on the plus side it has JAMES MCAVOY IN HIS OWN SCOTTISH ACCENT WEARING TIGHT LEATHER PANTS, sooooo.)
