Oh man. I feel like. I feel like I should tell you not to catch up. Just watch tonight's episode and pretend the others never happened. Because it was pretty painful to watch with a week to get over the sheer wrongness of some of the eps and if you powerwatch them all at once... just keep the alcohol nearby, bb. Or better yet, lock it up somewhere safe and find a vicodin or two.

RE: Danny/Kamekona interactions. No, I don't like all the scenes they've done...BUT!!! I've had relationships like that...constant teasing and stuff. Bordering on mean to people who look at it from the outside. So, I can't unequivocally say that it's just Danny being shitty. It might be how they interact. Danny acts like an ass, Kamekona threatens to pound him, etc...they'd still go out for beers later...
Maybe it's Danny's size insecurities coming out to play, because for all that Kamekona is a large man, he is also at LEAST a foot taller than Danny, who is already pissed off at being so much shorter than Steve... Or if they actually showed Kamekona and Danny going out for beers I could totally get behind that. I just want everyone to be friends!!!
I think they should show Danny and Kamekona going out for beers. This show is terrible at showing...TPTB make a lot of assumptions on how we perceive characters...not always accurately. I bet if you asked them, they'd probably tell you that Danny and Kamekona have a bit of a love-hate thing going on, but they were friends (even if they weren't super close). As I said, I have had relationships like that...quite mean from the outside, but you'd still go to the end for the person...(and I've slept with this person)
I loved the opening scenes and the banter between Danny and Steve, but for some reason, this episode didn't rock that much for me. It still doesn't compare to any season 1 episodes. Lori, go away.
I thought that the ICE agent was the bad guy. Max being all, "I know you from somewhere," and the guy saying, "We've never met, what are you talking about." I thought that was a clue! And now I find out that they were both on Heroes, that's why. I kept waiting for the big reveal and be smug about getting it right. Pooh.
My personal canon is that Steve has always wanted a dog but never had one (so many fics about that), so his protests about Danny with the dog were disappointing, even if it did mean banter. But I love that Danny is so good with dogs! Makes up for newly revealed dickish behaviour. He's still an awesome dad.
OMG, that's right, we get MPREG in canon! Sort of. I cannot believe they brought it up. Someone on the show definitely reads H50 fanfic.

LOL NO, IT'S TOTALLY HEROES, sorry they misled you like that, bb! And I think Steve really does like the dog, he just doesn't like the way the dog is taking up all of Danny's attention and affection!
H50 was ~so~ much better than I was expecting! I mean the first few minutes were pure gold, with Steve trying to stealth!ninja his way into Danny's room and Danny was just waiting for him. It was a total movie date situation, complete with Smooth-dog-Steve putting his arm on the back of the couch...though probably the whole alien mpreg conversation was a new twist lol.
Chin looked really good last night! And I love his contact high munchies. And the dog riding shotgun was perfect. Is it just me or does Danny seem to drive his own car more often now?
I think Danny just *is* a little shit personality-wise, but he's just supposed to be a loveable one? Picking on Kamekona is clearly stupid, but he's been doing that since season 1, so I don't know.

MAYBE, okay, maybe Danny just needs to be topped, wait for it, and he needs to be topped by Steve but he can't ask that of his partner-sometimes-boyfriend and he can't get in Steve's face because Steve just thinks that's like normal or something, so he's an asshole to Kamekona until the big guy takes Steve aside and says, "Look, brah, you need to get your boy in line," and at first Steve is like, "Hahaha, not funny, he's a real person, take your issues up with him," and Kamekona's like, "No, brah, you ain't listening to me. Get. Your. Boy. In. Line." And Steve's like "Ohhhhh," and then like, "Yeah, everybody pack up we're going home early," and then like, "Danno, get in the car." And Danny's like, "Uh, tht's cute, but no," until Steve looms over him and very quietly says, "Get. That pretty ass. In. The. Car." And then there's porn. :D?
