I don't actually know anything about how a TV show works, writers and producer-wise? *hands*
I did have a dream once right after 1x22 that I was one of H50's writers and I was crying in a tent because P-Diddy had adlibbed and changed all of the lines I had so painstakingly written (I had read earlier that this was true, I'm not clairvoyant) and then Alex O wandered in and I blubbered out an apology for sucking, and he gave me a huge hug and turned into Dott and we played frizbee with Scotty for hoooooours.
the only thing I will say about the DBM in the form of the hidden camera is that at the time of this eppy Jack McG has only been dead for a year now....so he could quite conceivably been keeping an "eye" on it right up until his death by simply visiting Pat to say howdy or even to pretend to be on business -- so its also conceivable that things of value in an office don't get moved as much as in a person's home might....
anyhow I can see it being there....for awhile before being discovered....
No, you're right, I can totally see Jack being a sneaky ninja and placing a secret camera in the Governor's office (aaaand the clock not moving, I just want to be bitter about it), but I'm just saying it sure is convenient timing that they discovered it NOW, that it caught the Governor's murder EXACTLY, that the key from the box was the one piece of evidence the old asian man was able to help them with which lead to the finding of the blahblahblah.
yeah but see - it was Jenna who supposedly discovered that it was for a storage locker at a bus station or whatever at such a convenient time too - she has soo been working both sides.......
But...she got the key from the box? I'm not really sure what we're arguing about, tbh. Are you saying the hidden camera wasn't a super-convenient plot device to clear Steve's name? 'Cause all I'm saying is it was.
Watch this part again and keep your eyes on Danny absofuckinglutely losing his shit in the background:
I didn't have to watch it again (although I did) because the first time around I remember seeing Danny in the background and thinking he is so pissed/hurt/crazy in love.
if I had any giffing abilities at all I would gif every damn second and watch it for the rest of my life. I KNOW. I WANT GIFS. I can't make them at all so the best I could do was make a plain old simple icon.
YEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSS. SO MARRIED, DANNY. The whole time I kept thinking, "If this was anyone else, Chin or Kono or any other friend, he would not be freaking out this bad." :DDD lakdjf

And I totally approve of Deus Box Machina. The term, that is, not the thing the writers are doing.
