Hm, Ratpack White Collar AU. Peter/Neal, obviously. Just because there can never be enough of Neal Caffrey in his natural setting.

The story? Well, June and Byron would've totally ran a speakeasy. Neal is an "associate" of some sort. Peter is Peter. And Elle just wants to dance.

And I would not complain one bit if Adam Lambert somehow made an appearance.

(I don't even know, okay? I'm tired and trying to job hunt and could use a distraction.)

Well, June's speakeasy (Byron is still dead, because this is an AU) is one of the more reputable ones in town, AND it's where Peter met Elle--as Peter's Harvard pack moved in, Elle and her friends were slipping out a side-door and it just smacked Peter right between the eyes (I can't just write Peter/Neal, apparently, I hope OT3 is okay) and she smiles and Peter's jaw just drops, and she gives him a kiss on the cheek because she's seen him around for weeks now, and her flapper dress shimmers as she dances off into the night ( ... )

OT3 rocks! I think it's one of the only fandoms where I'm not only okay with having a girl there, but ENJOY having the girl there. Elle is fucking amazing.

Okay, well, Kono--even though the team knows she's awesome--wouldn't be allowed to go to crime scenes (unless she went in disguiiiiise) but she'd be the perfect secret weapon for undercover work because nobody suspects the wimmenfolk. Danny would show up in Hawaii expecting to wear his grey wool suits and holds out three weeks before he faints from heatstroke and Steve all but throws him over one shoulder and carries him off...to the hospital. Of course. Chin would be their inside man on basically everything, and they'd all go over to Kamekona's shave ice/soda fountain after work and listen to Elvis records and talk about this "red scare" they're hearing about on the mainland and Kono would educate them on The Feminine Mystique.

Basically it would be less about fighting crime and more about rootbeer floats. IN MY MIND.

Okay, it's been a long time since I've seen Gladiator (and it's probably not historically accurate ANYWAY) BUT--The guys in charge make a horrible mistake in thinking that Dannicus is a weakling just because he's short and doesn't give a fuck, and they chain him to Stevius thinking that Danny will slow him down. AHAHAHA They kill all the people in the arena trying to kill them and then Dannicus punches Stevius in the face because "YOU GOT ME STABBED," and Steve is like "WHAT?" and Danny's like "When that happens, YOU APOLOGIIIIIZE," and the crowd is roaring LIVE LIVE LIVE and the ringmaster says HOKAY and Steve explains to her (Governorica) that they will fight only as a TEAM, and she's like, Yeah, sounds good.

AND EVERYTHING IS GAY SEX THE END

Actually! The storyline isn't historically accurate, but the setting, costumes, etc. is pretty legit. :D Including dangling entrails of cows as celebratory decoration.
