Did ungraded "assessment" speeches in Public Speaking today (joooy) and I COME BEARING GIFTS. One of the presenters did her speech on Kauai, Hawaii, where she apparently lived for a while (or studied, or something, it's all unclear, WHAT ISN'T UNCLEAR: FIC FODDER)

You can always tell the meat products (pork/chicken/fish grilled/fried/baked or in any Asian or Hawaiian recipe mmmmm kalua pork) because the non-meat aspect is white. They make macaroni salad with macaroni and mayo, and that's it. It's strangely appealing. Two scoops rice. McDonald's serves rice with breakfast, and also chorizo.

I really want a story where Grace hands Danny a block of spam musubi and he has to eat it without bitching. I'm kinda partial to it, myself. :)

Ohhhh bleah. I'm sorry, i've never been a fan of mayo. But i'd gladly take rice over french fries (I KNOW, I'M WEIRD. I don't like potato chips either.)

I went to a Spam Museum in the states once--i think it's one of those things that taste better when you don't think about what it is (Like Haggis!) Mostly it just really freaks me out that spam doesn't change color when you cook it. o.O
