So great, and the voices were PERFECT. This is actually the first fic I've read for solely this pairing and I'm so glad I did! The "we're in love" scene was just pitch-perfect dialogue. I love, love, love this. Favorited!

There's this loyalty and gentleness that you managed to capture in this fic that makes my heart ache for what Ray's going through, in learning how to deal with the fact that he loves Walt, possibly more than he's loved anyone else, and that Walt is deploying. There's something so easy about the two of them being together that makes all of the time leading up to Walt's deployment so poignant and believable.

Not sure if I make sense, but, "Great job!" seems to fall so short, lol. Anyway, I''m definitely mem'ing this and I hope to see some more of your Ray/Walt in the future!
