Finally got around to watching Time of the Angels after my little holiday in Poland.
What a wonderful treat! Absolutely bloody terrifying. They're everywhere. I wish I had a sofa to hide behind. I was trying not to look away in case they CAME OUT OF THE TELLY AT ME. -

I love Eleven. I really, really love Eleven. He's so delightfully other.
I have a crack in my wall. I am going to watch it carefully from now on.
Also, I want to be Amy Pond. It's the first time I've ever actually wanted to be the companion. She's so beautiful and awesome and I think I need to lie down now. -

I have got round to watching Who-special-whose-name-I-can't-remember. Waters on Mars? Waters of Mars? Watery, wet, fucking terrifying Mars.
Doctor Who at is finest is always ripping off something decent, and there was a slightly Event Horizon-y feel to the first half. Actually, maybe it wasn't Event Horizon. It was something creepy as hell in ( Read more... ) -

I am seriously impressed by the way this series of Torchwood is going. In a non-spoilery fashion, I can happily say that the limited number of episodes, the existence of an arc and the increased budget have worked wonders.
