He deserves better than that.

Jane showed up in the basement tonight. She didn't seem to think we were far from home.

She didn't seem too happy to see Trent and I, either.

I spent a lot of time with Trent today.

He kissed me.

There was talking and other stuff, but that's the important part.

And, before anyone starts to worry: my hormones don't rage. Oh, sure, they get mad sometimes, but then they just stop speaking to each other.

We all expect something out of life. Babies expect to be fed and played with and told they're cute. Some people never grow out of those expectations. And for some people, that seems to work. I told my parents I was doing this to have someplace to talk about my writing, but that would require finding someone I trust enough to actually share my writing with.
