I want to make home made noodles for a chorizo mussel noodle bowl tonight. I was thinking of throwing in some lemon zest into the noodles. Or an herb. I am aware it will most likely get drowned out with all the other flavors but want to try anyways.

Anybody have any suggestions?

The highlight of my Grandma Kitty's dinner was definitely Aunt Kathy's home-made canolis. I don't normally like canolis, but these were amazing. She made the shells and the filling herself. Somehow on Friday, walking barefoot down the hallway of my apartment, I managed to get a rather large splinter in the ball of my foot. Instead of sitting immediately down and dealing with it in an efficient manner, I instinctualy and blindly tried to claw it out while balancing on the other foot. Had a dream where a friend told me that, in order to get on the party on the boat that was leaving ASAP I must not only dress like Abraham Lincoln, I must stay in character all night. I was also not allowed to drink whiskey...which was hilarious coming from the person giving me these instructions.
