Likewise, I expected the ep to be painful, overdone comedy that would hurt to watch.

I loved it!

I loved how they didn't go overboard on the fanboying and make Dean a caricature.

Dean in the wrestling ring--I can only imagine how much fun Jensen had with that!

And the way this ep went from funny to tragic just felt very Kripke-esque to me.

I can't wait to see the outtakes on the DVDs >:-D And yeah, if they would have gone with caricature!Dean, it would have killed the whole ep, so thank God they didn't do that.

Yep, definitely a good ep! Dean fanboying was awesome; it was fun him acting like a bright-eyed little kid and reminiscing with Sam. The only thing I didn't like (and this ongoing in the show) is how easily Dean was taken out. Granted it was by a pro wrestler, but Dean's supposed to be a pro hunter with massive cred yet it seems like he can't win in a fight for losing most days. Sometimes I miss badass demon Dean *sigh*

This was a marvelous eppie!! I must admit, I was rather dubious as well, because...wrestling? But in the end, tis rather John Winchester, I must admit, lol!

This episode was awesome from start to finish. Lucifer playing Castiel was fun, but now he's more relaxed and just being Lucifer, he is gonna trip up (which I look forward to!) Misha is having a blast, you can tell - and I'm loving Crowley and how he is handling it. Just can't keep that fucker down. Rather loving that!

And yes, Dean being kick ass and just...pulling himself up by his bootstraps (when doesn't he??! OMG, love him!), was a thing of beauty in itself.

Just a marvelous (unexpectedly so!) episode. Cannot wait to see what the rest of the season holds!

Yeah I love that Crowley isn't giving up without a fight. And seeing our boys happy was just so lovely :)
