Aw, damn, that is a good plan. Before remembering about all that I was going to see if I could maybe actually get out of the house this weekend, but the only place I can think of to go by myself is a bookstore, so, so much for that plan. D: Curses. Oh well, I shouldn't be anywhere where I might accidentally buy manga anyway, I guess. :D;

I was really bitter when my friend who works at Borders called me on Wednesday and went "HOLY CRAP. PEOPLE ARE ALREADY LINING UP."

D: Was gonna go read me some Air Gear or MAR or something, but noooo, the crazy had to descend early.

omg seriously? Sorry, but that is pretty much absolutely ridiculous. That's like, even worse than people camping outside Best Buy for the PS3 or whatever the hell they were waiting for. XD;

Aww. I've been meaning to read more Air Gear, but they always wrap it up in plastic. Coz there's boobs in it. :| I'm too cheap and not really interested enough to buy it and not quite enough of a delinquent to take it off. XD;

I'll tell you what ruined the series for me: I read really, really splendid fan fiction, then read HPB, and was like, "WHAT."

Neil Gaiman is a much better author to waste your money on, and Suikoden V is a much better game to waste your time on. HINT: PLAY IT NOW NOW NOW

XD; It's sad when the fanfic authors do better work than the books, isn't it? I was skeptical when somebody told me that one read like a bad fanfic, but yyyeah.

Um, I will attempt to do that tomorrow when I'm not leaving the house to go waste time reading manga at bookstores, maybe! XD;;

It's very sad! When I first heard that there were folks in fandom who only read fanfic and didn't know much about the events in canon, I was startled, but then HPB was released, and... Sweet mother of us all.

I'm sure there is a good deal of fic out there that is better than Rowling's efforts, particularly the last three. It likely has more gay, too, which I approve of, of course.

Blah, officially translated manga. Scanlations forever! XD

I also approve of the greater amount of gay! :D It certainly tends to be more interesting than the canon het, at least. Except I still hate Harry/Draco. XD;

Sometimes I like to just get out of the house, though, and as I do not have a laptop, scanlations do not travel. It's easier to rifle through physical stuff to see what's out there that I might want to poke at, too. :D;

I went with my roommate to get his copy because it meant him buying us groceries that I got to pick out so we'd get a discount XD

But seriously, I'll read his copy mostly because it'll be lying around and I started the damn series so I am damn well going to finish it, but I never understood, from the very freaking beginning why everyone went CRAZY over it. I mean it's cute and fun, but I want to shoot Rowling in the face for not getting a better freaking editor, I mean these things are painful at times.

Supposedly, as I have been thoroughly spoiled at could care less, most anyone left I had any mild liking for is gone in this book anyway so eh. And the epilogue thing XD God seriously save that for documentaries and lifetime movies.

YOU KNOW WHAT, they should just go ahead and make someone an astronaut, too, just for kicks. Like, I don't know, CHARLIE. And also, somebody's child should be named something ridiculous like Amethyst Rose, and she can grow up to date someone at least 20 years older than her. And then everybody can learn the true meaning of peace and love! And also Christmas!

Right, I definitely am just talking out of my ass at this point, and should possibly consider passing out or something, but I am pretty sure that is not going to happen for at least another hour, because I'm smart like that. XD;

Okay I had a DREAM last night about the POOR EDITING IN THOSE BOOKS. THAT SAY SOMETHING, PEOPLE.

I've already spoiled myself, so... I have no will to read the actual thing. And after Sirius's death, my interest dropped to zero. XD;;; Apparently quite a few and my fav character will finally kick it in this last one. So yeah. Definately don't want to read that.. While that epilogue is awful, I find it pretty "lolz" worthy though.

Seriously, it's like, let's cause our main character as much emotional pain as possible before the story's out! While I agree that there has to be some of that every once in a while to keep interest, I think the woman's really overdoing it. Harry's like, gonna beat Voldemort, then go emo and slit his wrists. Which I'm sure somebody's written fanfic of already! XD;

Even though I say I don't care...I still don't really want to know just who died. I'm sure I'll find out eventually anyway, possibly before reading the damn thing, but ehh. Hope they at least go out with more dignity than Sirius did. XD;

RIGHT, that's two votes for Suikoden. XD; Dammit, I really do want to finish that. TWICE. D:

I guess three votes for Suikoden means I have to do it. XD I do really want to play Tales of the Abyss, but as it was not at the Movie Trading Company the last time we went on a game shopping binge, I still do not own it. D:
