Aaaah... the sweet sweet muscle ache of a workout. The morning after reminds you that you actually put effort in. Even if I can't walk (as a sign to STRETCH PRE AND POST WORKOUT), it still makes me smile! And yes, I actually like the fact we have to walk up 7 flights of stairs to get to the flat we're currently staying in - unavoidable exercise

I hate the massive acheiness though, means I can't work out as much on other days! Climbing the stairs at Highgate station nearly killed me last week after I did squats in the morning after not doing them for ages. Was like a nonna getting up those steps...
I'm going to start going to the gym twice a day on Wednesdays and Fridays and have become utterly addicted to Tim's replacement's spin classes (do them twice on Saturdays! My goal is to burn 500cal in one 45min session annnd he plays lots of industrial dancey stuff form germany)...and I've started taking CLA. Need to do more weights though, don't think I'm doing enough resistance, seem to just do spin classes 6 times a week.
In 6 months I want to buy my first bikini, never wore one before. :)

I've enjoyed getting back to an hour's worth of cross training every day, but am aware that my usual half an hour walk to and from work is gone now we've moved. Earl's Court Soho Gym is so strange and badly stocked that I've taken to doing my normal crunches at home with my feet under the bed!

Can you get to the clapham common branch? It's fantastic in there, tried it out last week. All new equipment, masses of room and even has outdoor seating areas for when the weather is nice. I've just upgraded my membership to get better access to classes, costs a bit more a month, but if it means skipping a few coffee light frappacinos (oh the suffering!), then it's not a lot really.
