garienos and I went for a drive up the coast at the weekend while the weather was decent. We went hunting a local Holy Well (more on that later) but also saw the massed goose flocks on the marshes at Holkham.

Canada Geese Spread

Holkham Park was the place from which both Canada and Egyptian geese spread throughout Norfolk and Suffolk. In the nineteen fifties you never saw either but since then they have driven out most of the native goose species.

those aren't Canada they are Brent (with a few Wigeon in there too).
