I'm too busy

For an unemployed guy who's alone at home all day I sure do seem to lack free time. I suppose the fact that I've worked two contract jobs, gone to a major convention, and done a two week family trip this summer has something to do with it. What are you constraints? The first thing you need to do is define bounds.

What's your media? Text? Spoken Word and/or Audio Book? Radio Play? Print Comic? Web Comic? Flash Animations? Short Film? Feature Film? Other?

What's your distribution channel? Live performance? One to one? One to many? Is this a 3-act, 10 minute per act video that will live on YouTube? Or a 2:20 6 act feature that will screen once at the Rice Media Center or the Angelica? Is it a podcast that can be downloaded weekly? Or something else online with an RSS feed?

Answer Media & Distribution first, then I'll ask more questions.

Generally I have ideas for just about every medium, and I often feel I've chosen the wrong medium halfway through a process. Recent disasters I quickly abandoned in recent years include a novel that clearly wants to be a screenplay, and a comic that is clearly a storyboard for animation. Trouble is: that clearly means the scope of the work was much larger than my attention span or capabilities.

To answer the question as best I can: much as I hate YouTube, (and BOY do I hate YouTube), it seems like it is the distribution solution best suited to my interests and abilities.
