Solitary moon

Hello beautiful flist. Yes, it is I. I am still alive! I thought I'd break radio silence for once. I've been a bit all over the place recently. I've been working loads, reading loads, studying loads. I would have probably updated this thing sooner if I'd have the guts to open up Livejournal on my computer at work. Unfortunately a colleague sits ( Read more... )

LOULOU!!! *glom* I've missed you so much! Never leave again.

I'm still hideously jealous about your Frankenstein Q&A adventures. But at the same time, I commend you for being able to talk to Mark Gatiss and Benedict Cumberbatch - I probably would have just gazed at them in abject terror. (Also, I haven't read The Vesuvius Club - should I?)

Regarding the person with no Q&A etiquette, are you sure it wasn't this lady? ;)

Finally: VENICE? Argh, you lucky thing, you? Are you going to pull an Ezio and go leaping across the canals? Good luck saving up for your trips, though. :)

*Glomps you more* SOPHIE. I have missed you too little chick! I shall endeavour to avoid long absences in the future :)

Hehe, I really got myself into a wreck over Mark Gatiss and Benedict Cumberbatch. I had the shakes for about 5 minutes after meeting Mark and I could barely look at Benedict. Though he caught my eye for a split second and it was like he was looking into my soul. Oh those eyes ( ... )

I've been debating e-mailing you - I really need to let you know what's going on with your Christmas gift, for starters - but I wasn't sure if you were taking a deliberate break from the internet or not.

XD Well look on the bright side, at least you weren't the worst person there? But seriously, did you talk to either of them? What did you sayyyy? Lou, let me live vicariously through you!

Re: the National Theatre, some people have said that they saw security having a chat with her at the stage-door, shortly after which she announced that she had handed out all the invites she needed to and therefore never had to go to the stage-door ever again. Hmm. I've been following the whole saga because I know some of the people involved and it's honestly not even funny anymore. I'm surprised Mark was even willing to talk to her, to be honest. I'd start running and never stop, and I'm not even the focus of her attentions.

LOL. I'll add it to my birthday list, then.

I may take a red cap with me in honour of Leo.You're adorable. I demand photos ( ... )

Oh no, I wasn't taking a hiatus from the internet, just wasn't checking LJ as often. I would have welcomed you email either way, my dear ( ... )

I totally managed to miss the fact that you actually met Benedict Cumberbatch! I imagine there was much flailing. ;) Also didn't know Johnny Lee Miller was in it... I've had a crush on him for years ever since Mansfield Park.

LMAO at Lily Cole's moon face!

Can't wait for the Band of Brothers jump! So excited!

Oh god, flailing is an understatement! My heart nearly burst out of my chest when I met Mr. Cumberbatch. Despite that it was all very exciting. And wow, you didn't know Johnny Lee Miller was in Frankenstein? He is totally bald now, I'm sure if you Google the show you'll be able to see what he looks like now (very different to what he used to look like!). He was great in it, his Creature was awesome.

The jump will be epic. I literally can not wait. I think Michael Fassbender has been confirmed for it now? I need Ross McCall there. I NEED IT.

Just googled the pics.. o_O Fair to say I don't much fancy Johnny Lee Miller any more. LOL

Wait, Michael Fassbender is doing the UK jump as well as the LA one? If so,awesome. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed just for the VERY small possibility that James McAvoy would do it XD.

*sigh* If only we could go to LA and see all the others, including Ross ;) Who btw, looks HOT in your userpic!

OMG I didn't even bother to look at the LA one and now I want to go. LIEBGOTT AND WEBSTER. YES, LIEBGOTT AND WEBSTER. Together. As in Ross and Eion. OH GOD I am dying. Why can't we go to the LA one instead?! Their guests are much better!! We should find some way to guilt Ross into coming over here as well...he should be more patriotic!! At least we get Skinny Sisk (Liebgott and Webster's child) and Babe and Doc Roe. But still....hnnnnnnn Ross McCall.

Re the Lieb icon: IKR? If I could marry an icon this would be the one.

*Am still in agony over LA and Ross*

Yay! I am so thrilled for you, that you've had such a wonderful time. It sounds awesome. And meeting Mark Gattis, you lucky lucky girl. He's so clearly one of us. I'd love to have tea with him and discuss all the geeky goodness that he loves too :)

Oh Emily, it was incredible! I wish you could have seen it all. I wish everyone could have seen it. Haha, Mark Gatiss is a fangirl, yes! I would love to have tea with him too, he is a delightful chap, and we could discuss victorians and our blatant literary-crushes on Sherlock Holmes. Though I think if I ever came into close contact aain with him I would never let him go ^_^
