In the light of a new day and shampoo, I realized my hair was worse than I thought. So, I did something I have never done before-- I called the salon and asked if I could come back so they could try again. Yeah, going back was definitely the right thing to do. And it wasn't so bad-- he said the pictures made all the difference, and was even able to give me the right vocabulary to communicate what I want next time. As I was leaving he thanked me for coming back in because he knew it probably wasn't an easy decision, and he'd much rather have me come back so he could fix it than walk around feeling uncomfortable for a few weeks until it grew out.

And looky-- three and a half years with you and I actually decided to buy some product. Not bad. ;)
