In the light of a new day and shampoo, I realized my hair was worse than I thought. So, I did something I have never done before-- I called the salon and asked if I could come back so they could try again. I was awkward and nervous, especially when they told me I'd be working with the original stylist again. I prepared by bringing in pictures of my hair with the cut I wanted, and drew a profile of the shape I was looking for. Net result: MAJOR IMPROVEMENT! It's probably not the best cut I've ever had, but it works, and I'm pleased.

::takes deep breath::

I picked up some styling wax and sculpting spray. Hopefully I can take them for a test drive tomorrow and practice what I'm planning for Saturday.
