I realized why I'm aggressively disinterested in a lot of ships where characters have a more natural allignment with each other or feel like "the thing to ship". And like, I totally understand the fantasy of the perfect healing relationship, but for me as a person and a writer it doesn't usually feel right?

Speaking personally, I find the trope/fantasy of the healing relationship VERY appealing. (And I think you can see elements of that trope in a lot of things that I ship, where two people are better with each other and/or the relationship helps heal past trauma. I am not even always opposed to magic cock and I realize that is nothing something I should admit in all fanspaces.) THAT SAID, anytime someone wants to complain about Bucky/Steve I AM HERE FOR IT. ^_^ Hey, I never said I had any moral high ground.

Like, even the takes I've seen on MCU!Natasha/Bucky feel too...nice?What frustrates me to bits about MCU Natasha/Bucky is that I feel like the ONLY THING I have seen people do with that relationship, is try to fanwank/fanfic the canon comics backstory in. And I'm like, if I am desperate for comics canon, I CAN READ THE COMICS. Would you please either just write comics Bucky/Nat or ( ... )
