And like, I totally understand the fantasy of the perfect healing relationship, but for me as a person and a writer it doesn't usually feel right?

Speaking personally, I find the trope/fantasy of the healing relationship VERY appealing. (And I think you can see elements of that trope in a lot of things that I ship, where two people are better with each other and/or the relationship helps heal past trauma. I am not even always opposed to magic cock and I realize that is nothing something I should admit in all fanspaces.)
