I'd write an explicit, deleted scene of your prospective Loki/Jane fic. Jane's on Earth, Loki's on Asgard, and one late evening when he's very frustrated (in multiple sense of the word) he conjures up a illusion of Jane to titilate him.Only he never saw enough of her to have a decent sense of what she'd look like naked, and since nothing sexual happened between them, he has no idea how she'd act, and normally he would just speculate, but that's just SO UNSATISFYING in this case. He finally dismisses the illusion, more frustrated than when he started.

Ficbit:

Jane's form continues to stand before him, soft hair, bright eyes, too-large jacket and luridly patterned boots. Unarguably fully clothed.

It's only... he would like to have some idea of Jane's reaction, if she were here. Would she blush, conceal her breast with her hands even as she stripped? Or would she remove her clothes with the same hurried, eager motions she chalked out equations, eyes bright and fixed on his

Because I'm not sure if the above would count as a remix, my alternate answer is: I would write a Nat pov scene about the period in Barony of Ivy where she's covering for Clint.
