Quaggy, I don't even know what to say. No one has ever written anything for my birthday, ever. I'm just unbelievably touched by this--as if I wasn't already on the verge of tears all afternoon anyway.

That was beautiful. Deliciously domestic and delightful.

Loved it. I love that you have them sharing ordinary activity like dinner at home. They are so cute together. And of course you brought some of the banter, so it is even better.

Quaggy! I can't believe I missed this when you wrote it. You told me about it the other day and I suspected I had read it and forgot, but now I think this is the first time. You wrote it May 14? I think I was a bit distracted that day. Anyway, it is really nice and exactly what I was talking about when I asked for a "post hawaii pre tomorrow" fic. I still want more, I'm greedy like that, but this was really good ( ... )

Yeah... I'm actually surprised with myself for posting on that day of all days! I normally time things better.

The part we didn't get to see, that I still feel a little cheated out of, was just seeing them enjoying being together as much as they always did, but this time being honest about how much they enjoy each other.

The thing is as scene with them just being them, while intersting to us, would just be boring for those lacking in focus. But Brad and Janel are such good actors that they gave us the quiet moments anyways. The scenes in Tomorrow. Even the moment in Requiem when Josh basical takes Donna and runs away from Matt and Amy. (They even turned around at the exact same momment. So cute.) It's not a lot. But I'll take what I can get.
