Just got back from hearing Khaled Hosseini, author of The Kite Runner and A Thousand Splendid Suns. The format was basically a discussion between him and the moderator, a woman from the local NPR station who had a wonderful British accent. Just got back from meeting Genevieve Gorder (of Trading Spaces fame.) This woman has been on Mr. Curl's list for a *long* time. Alas, she did not offer to whisk him away. ;-)  They did, however, share parenting stories (she has a new seven month old.)
