I'm not sure what made me feel more American, ordering the pizza on the plane when everyone else wanted the chicken curry with rice or when I was at least a head taller than everyone else on the tram in the airport.

Highlights:

The first thing/person I saw in the airport was a Japanese teenager with his laptop at a power/internet station,
