A sliver of light sneaks past the black-out curtains in Soohyun and Eli's room, landing just so across Soohyun's eyes so that he twitches, blinks and flops an arm across his face. As much as he tries to drift back asleep, though, he knows it's a pointless mission. Once he wakes up even a little, he's awake for the rest of the day, and with a resigned groan he attempts to roll over to see the clock, only to be stopped by a heavy weight on his left side. Deciding that the time doesn't really matter, he rolls a bit in the opposite direction, marveling at how Eli doesn't wake up. As he quietly admires Eli's peaceful, unawares face, Soohyun slides a hand beneath the hem of Eli's undershirt and tickles his flat stomach.
Eli opens one eye and bats away Soohyun's hand. "What time is it?" he groans and stretches.
Disappointed, but not put off so easily, Soohyun glances at the digital clock beside the bed. "Nine o'clock." Eli nods and continues to stretch, this time not bothering to protest when Soohyun reaches out and slides his undershirt up. Giving Soohyun a quick smirk, he bounces out of bed and tosses the shirt off the rest of the way.
Soohyun groans and reaches out to try and drag Eli back into bed, but Eli slaps away his arms and jogs to the bathroom. "I don't think so," he laughs out loud as Soohyun tries to follow. "Did you forget we have plans today? We're already running behind." Nonetheless Soohyun makes for the door, only to have it slammed in his face. "Jokwon-hyung will kill you if we're late again."
As regretful as it is to let Eli shower alone, Soohyun concedes because he can't risk incurring that wrath again, not when Jokwon had clearly threatened to "hack off" Soohyun's dick the last time he and Eli had shown up to a meeting three minutes past the appointed time.
Luckily it takes only five minutes to walk from their apartment complex to the small dim sum restaurant where they always meet Jokwon and his associates, so they step through the doors just as Soohyun's wristwatch blinks 9:30. They spy Jokwon's slim figure in the back of the restaurant and the older man is positively glowering at them as they approach. "What the hell did I tell you about being late?" he spits at Soohyun as he and Eli slide into the chairs opposite his and Jinwoon's. Soohyun ignores Jokwon and gives Jinwoon a warm smile.
"How've you been?" he asks, but Jinwoon just nods and glances nervously at the man beside him.
"Are you actually ignoring me?" Jokwon mutters, snatching the menu from Soohyun's hands. Soohyun meets Jokwon's pissed off glare and rolls his eyes.
"We're on time today, hyung," he replies and tries to take back his menu.
Jokwon lets him take it, but crosses his arms and his knee starts bouncing in obvious annoyance. "Perhaps, but I also told you that, out of respect, you should show up at least five minutes early." The tone is so familiar, Soohyun almost smiles despite trying to act nonchalant. He covers his face with his open menu.
"I forgot about that," Soohyun admits and enjoys the frustration sigh he gets in return. Setting down the menu, he glances at the frightened waiter and decides it might be better to get out of there quickly. He pulls a small, folded piece of paper out of his suit pocket and slides it across the table to Jokwon, who sneers at it a moment before accepting it. "Just a small clean-up job. Collecting got messy yesterday."
Eli starts in his chair, attracting the attention of everyone in the room, including the jumpy waiter. "Sorry," he says with a slight bow to Jinwoon and Jokwon as he leans toward his partner. "Where the fuck was Dongho this morning?" he whispers in Soohyun's ear. Eyes widening, Soohyun coughs awkwardly as his eyes dart back to Jokwon a moment. How the hell could he forget to look for the kid before leaving?
"Is there a problem?" Jokwon asks with narrowed, suspicious eyes.
"Nothing at all," Soohyun replies smoothly. "Now about this job," he continues, gesturing toward the paper in Jokwon's hands. "We failed to collect in that job, and when we made the mess you're to clean up, what we were sent for became... inaccessible." He glances at Jokwon to see if he's following. Jokwon smirks and nods the smallest of nods. "We'd really, really like to access it, so we may need Junho's help as well."
Jinwoon decides to reply this time, "No one is better at gaining access than Junho." He smiles innocently and winks at Soohyun. "We'll talk to him, just be ready to pay his fees."
"Junho and I have an agreement about payment already," Soohyun boasts with a wide grin. Clicking his tongue, Jokwon shoves himself to his feet and motions for Jinwoon to follow. "Don't like how I do business, hyung?" he asks before Jokwon can stalk away.
"It's certainly unique," Jokwon replies with a cock of his head and a sharp laugh. That's all the approval Soohyun needs, and he claps Eli on the back as Jokwon and Jinwoon leave the building.
"Let's go find that little shit." He smirks and they follow the other two out.
They check the office, the Pub, and then knock on a few doors around the complex, but Dongho is nowhere to be found. At noon they have no choice but to postpone the search mission in order to get some work done. Without their new distraction, all four collections take them only until five o'clock after which they head back to their apartment to grab a quick bite to eat. Dongho isn't there, but they expect as much. Soohyun collapses onto the couch and Eli heads straight for the fridge.
"That fucking idiot," he mutters into the cushions, pulling a pillow over his face.
Eli leans against the counter with a sloppily made sandwich in hand. "Don't worry, he'll come back," he says between monstrous bites.
With a noncommittal grunt, Soohyun wraps his arms around his pillow and tries to ignore the irrational thoughts- that Dongho is in trouble, that he must have wandered off, maybe ran into some rival group, pissed them off, and at that very moment they're holding him hostage both to punish him and their group. "That's it," he snaps, tossing the pillow across the room and shoving himself off of the couch. He grabs his bat and heads for the door. "I'm going to find him. This is driving me fucking nuts."
The food in Eli's mouth almost ends up all over the floor as he bursts out laughing. "Chill," he says in English. "No, really. The kid's fine." Soohyun swings the bat lazily as his side and glances at the door, unsure. "Have you called the others yet?"
"No," Soohyun mutters after a moment. He sets the bat back down and returns to the couch, but perches on the edge and cracks his knuckles one by one. Eli tosses him a bag of some sort of snack food, but he sets it to the side. He can never eat when he's nervous. "Once you're done eating I'll call around and, if they haven't seen him, we'll head out."
"About that," Eli mumbles with his mouth full and his eyes averted. "I kind of have something going on tonight, so..." He peeks at Soohyun before returning his gaze to the out-of-date calendar on the fridge.
"Well, you can't help that," Soohyun replies quietly, baffled at his partner's sudden discomfort, and is that embarrassment he sees in the way Eli shakes his head furiously in apology? Then it hits him. "Oh, so you're why Kiseob is busy tonight?" he sighs and closes his eyes. He rubs his face and tries to hide the strain settling there.
Eli's first attempt at a reply results in his choking for a good two minutes, but after a few hard smacks to the back by Soohyun he's able to cough, "It's just business, hyung."
Nodding, Soohyun keeps his arm around Eli's shoulders and squeezes him gently. "Whether it's business or... not business, don't worry about it." The words come out firm and he's proud of himself, but something on his face must be off because Eli takes one look at Soohyun and his faze crumples.
"Are you mad?" he asks quietly, guiltily.
"That would make me a hypocrite," he replies smartly with a wry grin, and that seems to cheer Eli up. He's just grateful that Eli doesn't notice his complete avoidance of the actual question. Eli finishes off what's left of their carton of milk and grabs his discarded suit jacket from the desk chair. A flash of a smile and he's out the door with a bounce in his step that makes Soohyun's jaw clench. He shoves the fridge door open with his good hand and proceeds to grab any and all alcoholic products it contains and line them up on the counter. It's going to be one hell of a night.
The glow of the street lamps outside the living room window is Soohyun's only indication of time when the doorknob jiggles until the door pops open, revealing a perfectly fine and rather casually dressed Dongho. He takes one look at Soohyun, slumped into the cushions of the couch with an empty liquor bottle in hand, and makes a beeline for the bedroom. Stumbling to his feet and banging his thigh off of the coffee table in the process, Soohyun drops the bottle and grabs for Dongho. The smashing sound distracts him from his goal, however, and he ends up tumbling over the table and landing right on his injured hand. Sometime during his seemingly endless stream of curses, Dongho kneels down and pulls one of his hyung's arms around his neck, hoisting the now sobbing and incoherent Soohyun to his feet.
"Idiot," is all Soohyun hears when Dongho says something to him, and he grabs the kid's ear and shouts what he hopes it some sort of reproach into his ear. Dongho responds by throwing him onto the bed and immediately leaving the room.
"Little bastard!" Soohyun finally manages to shout, the first real words to leave his lips since Dongho got back. At that, Dongho pauses in the doorway and turns, leaning against the frame. He narrows his eyes and is oddly quiet, and Soohyun suddenly feels embarrassed, even humiliated. "Where were you?" he asks slowly, being sure to pronounce every syllable while the alcohol in his bloodstream battles his attempts at rational though.
Dongho tosses his head and rolls his eyes. "Out." He turns to leave again but Soohyun draws him back with another loud, incoherent outburst. "I'm really tired, can't we talk in the morning?"
"What time is it?" he demands and tries to ignore the way his words slur together. Dongho appears to understand and checks his watch.
"Three in the morning, so we should get some sleep." He looks back over his shoulder into the kitchen. "Is Eli out?" Soohyun replies with something garbled and angry, which earns him a small smile. "Ah, yeah. Kevin told me about him and Kiseob." He seems to enjoy the fierce glare Soohyun gives him and takes a step toward the bed. "Is that why you're drunk, hyung?" He draws out the last word, smiling innocently as he sits on the edge of the bed.
"It's none of my business," Soohyun growls and rolls over onto his side, away from Dongho. His suit feels stifling but he doesn't trust himself to try and do anything about it. He feels a hand squeeze his shoulder and, though it's Dongho and nothing Dongho ever does is genuine, it's comforting. The mattress shifts as Dongho moves, and Soohyun thinks he must be dreaming as a thin arm wraps around his middle.
Dongho rests his chin on Soohyun's shoulder and whispers, "Don't feel lonely, hyung." Despite the strangeness of it all, his pulse quickens as the rest of his body starts to automatically respond to the familiar, needy tone in Dongho's voice.
"Go to bed," he manages to mumble. He pushes away Dongho's arm only to have it squeeze tighter around him. When he goes to turn around, though, Dongho loosens his grip just enough to allow it. In the darkness Soohyun can barely distinguish Dongho's features, but he can feel the boy's breath against his face. He tries to order him to bed, but as soon as his lips part, they're forced shut by another very soft set of lips. His instincts respond before his brain can object and he moans against those lips and pulls the smaller body against his. Donhgo chuckles and slips his tongue into Soohyun's mouth as Soohyun bruises his lips with hungry kisses.
He isn't even sure when or how Dongho manages to push him over onto his back and straddle his hips, all while never breaking their seemingly endless kiss. Dongho's mouth is warm and tastes vaguely like strawberries, which makes no sense but makes him grab the back of Donghi's head and force him to stay lip-locked as he explores every inch to try and figure it out. He only lets the boy go when Dongho practically punches him in the chest and smiles, panting heavily. "I need to fucking breathe," he wheezes but the shit-eating grin on his face is reason enough for Soohyun to pull him back down into another kiss. Something nudges at his shoulders and he blinks to find Dongho pulling at his jacket, which he allows to be pulled off and thrown off to the side. Unfortunately, his mind clears just enough by the time Dongho has his dress shirt halfway unbuttoned for him to realize what exactly he's doing, or, more importantly, who he's doing it with.
"Dongho, I don't think-" he begins hoarsely, but Dongho gives him a look which clearly threatens his very life should he finish his sentence. He gulps and watches those hands, which he taught to hold a gun and had seemed so small back then, confidently undo his last shirt-button and push all material to the sides. Without looking up, he kisses Soohyun's stomach lightly, working his way up the muscular chest, along his neck to end with a peck on the lips. "Dongho," Soohyun breathes, ragged and questioning when he wants to warn the boy that he has no idea what he's doing, but Dongho grins and bites Soohyun's bottom lip in a way that proves that he knows exactly what he's doing.
A hand moves against his thigh and he flinches, making Dongho laugh light-heartedly and move his hand further up. Tracing a dangerous path inward and then across to Soohyun's hip, he ends at the leather belt and makes quick work of it. Before Soohyun recovers from that first flinch his belt is gone and his pants are already past his knees. Dongho throws them somewhere off to the side and admires his accomplishment. Soohyun barely even has time to register his embarrassment and blush before Dongho's mouth is on his again, forcing his head back and quieting his moans as hands start to wander over his newly exposed skin. Dongho touches everywhere he can- Soohyun's shoulders, chest, stomach, legs, brushing just a bit over the growing bulge in his tight boxers. When Soohyun feels those thin fingers start to play with the elastic around his hips he squeezes his eyes shut and arches up, urging the boy on.
"What do you think, will this make up for shooting you?" Dongho asks, leaning forward to kiss the skin between Soohyun's belly button and where his boxers begin.
Soohyun laughs out loud and throws an arm over his face. "God, is that what this is about?" Dongho frowns and hooks his fingers around the elastic waistband. He appears to consider how to answer, playing with the elastic a moment before choosing to continue what he'd been doing and remove Soohyun's boxers instead. Soohyun lets out a yelp that transforms into a moan as it leaves his lips, grabbing onto the sheets with his good hand as Dongho slides the head of his cock into his mouth. He feels Dongho's tongue slide across his hot skin and it takes every last bit of control he has to keep himself from grabbing the boy by his ears and fucking his mouth into oblivion. He flexes his fingers into the sheets and takes a deep breath through his nose, his hips twitching from effort as Dongho slowly, far too slowly, takes more of his length into his mouth until Soohyun feels his tip just barely hit the back of his throat. Just as slowly, Dongho lets it slide back out of his mouth. Soohyun finally opens his eyes to find Dongho watching him, licking his lips. "Shit," he rasps and closes his eyes again.
"This is easier than I thought," Dongho muses quietly, this time pumping Soohyun at a much faster pace with his hand such that he has to strain to hear Dongho's words over his own poorly restrained moans. Before he can think to respond, his cock is surrounded by that beautifully wet heat and all he can think are curses and colors. As Dongho becomes more accustomed to the action, he moves faster, licking along the sides and pausing to suck on the tip for just long enough to make Soohyun cry out before he takes his length back in all the way, humming and forcing Soohyun's hips to lie still with his hands.
Teasing is obviously the furthest thing from Dongho's mind as he only moves faster and faster, unaffected by how Soohyun starts moaning louder and grabbing at Dongho's hair and trying harder and harder to thrust deeper down Dongho's throat. His hands are strong and patient, preventing Soohyun from gaining any sort of control. Nothing changes in his amused expression even when Soohyun arches up one last time, beating the bed with both hands and not feeling the pain of his injury as he comes, sudden and blinding, into Dongho's mouth.
For a few seconds all he is aware of is his breathing and the rushed rise and fall of his chest, though somewhere in the corners of his consciousness he hears Dongho make a disgusted sound and slide off of the bed. With a half-smile he forces himself onto his elbows to see Dongho wiping at his mouth with the hem of his shirt. "Kevin didn't tell me about that," he grumbles with narrowed eyes. Soohyun laughs and, though exhausted, feels utterly relaxed and magically no longer drunk. He's about to invite the kid back into bed when he he notices a distinct wet spot at the end of the bed.
"Did you fucking spit in my bed?" he gasps, his voice still hoarse. Dongho smirks and shrugs.
"Like I was going to swallow that shit, hyung." He shrieks as Soohyun lunges out of bed and chases him out of the room. Wearing nothing but his unbuttoned dress shirt, Soohyun ends up tackling the boy in the living room and carrying him back into the bedroom, where he shoves Dongho's cheek into the spot and makes him promise to at least spit on the floor next time. Dongho promises but venomously asks when the hell Soohyun expects a next time, earning a rough, more than half-naked hug.
After pulling on sweatpants and helping Dongho change the sheets, because Dongho claims to never have handled fitted sheets before and Soohyun is in good enough a mood to humor him, they crawl into the large bed with huge yawns. Soohyun pulls Dongho into a hug and Dongho lets him with a fake sigh. "So where were you?" he whispers sleepily into Dongho's hair.
"I asked Kevin to take me to the shooting range," he replies reluctantly.
"You could always ask me to take you," Soohyun grumbles, a little too fed up with being ditched by his partners.
Dongho laughs and pats Soohyun's hand. "You're injured, remember?" Soohyun grunts in agreement and squeezes the boy closer. After a few silent moments Dongho continues quietly, "I'm hoping that after today you won't get injured anymore."
Soohyun blinks and smiles. "Damn, this really must be a dream. You're never this nice."
"Shut the fuck up, hyung," Dongho growls and tries to shove him away, but Soohyun pulls him back in with a happy sigh.
"That's better."
