An alternate script

Sometimes people ask me about my writing process. It's not very interesting, actually- it just consists of sitting in front of my computer with a blank text editor file open, writing, deleting, and rearranging dialogue until I hit upon something I think is funny. i agree that faye wouldnt let her get away with it, but i think the "fake wiki pedia entry" script is funny.....

perhaps if faye had just said "no"
still, i think what ran was best....

The process may not look as glamorous as we may have thought, but you do come up with a lot of good catchy dialogue!

And I'm also a fan of the "fake wiki entry."

Not in response to this entry, but to the post-thanksgiving day "shouting bird" strip: why Randy? You do know what "randy" means in Australian English, don't you?

Bill Watterson once described his creative process as sitting with a blank sheet of paper, staring off into space until an idea hit him. "To the layman, this looks remarkably like goofing off," he wrote sardonically. And yet he produced some truly meaningful, funny, wonderful art that way.

And so have you. You manage to make it real and meaningful, and three-dimensional, without the strip losing its sense of humor. Not an easy thing to do. High kudos to you, sir!
