The manga art is somewhat wonky in the beginning, but still kind of awesome. And the feels, oh god the story is beautiful but incredibly brutal and at times, bleak. The anime is released every Sunday, and Funimation is releasing the

A friend of mine mentioned it, and I became curious and devoured as much as I could find. And now....I am having feels. Epic feels, and I must corrupt others.
For the sake of protecting my pimping from massive spoilers, I think I will head over to the snk community and post there. I have found some utterly amazing stuff over on tumblr, concerning analysis and discussion/theories concerning the most recent developments.
ETA: Right here!
I would love to know what other folks are thinking re: recent events.
Also, Armin is amazing. And adorable, but mostly amazing. I love that he is awesome, but not in the same way as many of the others.

Yaaay you also love Armin! I want to hug and cuddle him, he's so cute. I also love that he's awesome but not like the others. I think that's what makes me relate to him more, because he's not this dude that's ridiculously amazing with physical prowess or mental fortitude. He's just a regular guy, but he's really intuitive and sharp. And also, I love how he'll just run right up and help Eren out even in super dangerous situations. He doesn't even think about it. He just does it. It's so sweet. It shows how the three of them are such close friends. I love that whole trio <3
Also, your icon-- aww, Gundam Seed. I haven't seen that in a long time. Come to think of it, did that series end? I know I saw the first season... now I can't remember if they had a second season as well, or what...

Well, Gundam Seed ended. And then they did the sequel, Gundam Seed Destiny which is also over now. It is......well, there's good and there's bad about it, and apparently a lot of behind-the-scenes creator wank. Let's just say that there's a lot of disagreement in the fandom concerning it.

So far, the anime has been very true to the manga. There's two things so far I think it has done better, but they are minor things in my opinion. The first would be the introduction of the Armored Titan (one page in the manga, a whole scene of AWESOME in the anime) and their rearrangement of the boot camp stuff. The manga has it as a flashback in the aftermath of the first major story arc, while the anime has it follow chronological order so you've gotten to know all these rookies before like.....bunches of them getting brutally eaten.
