It was recently brought to my attention that I've only been updating about once a month the past little while, and that includes two months without posting. I tried to defend myself by pointing out that even if I don't post, sometimes I'm still responding to what my friends have posted on theirs. So I'm not completely gone from LJ

I really want to get a Chomesh (Torah) so I can study at home, at my leisure. A sidur (prayer book) would be nice, too. I want to learn to read Hebrew again, too. Maybe expand my vocabulary, this time! (I've decided Hebrew takes precedence over Hungarian, though both are on my list.)

Is that allowed, woman? I thought that there were some strict rules on these things if there aren't men in your house...? Or are those a little old-fashioned?

2. There are boys in my house, so I'm mighty confused by what you meant.
3. Our congregation is reform. Women even count towards the minyan!

I'm living in Owen Sound, in my parents' house. With my parents and (almost 17 year-old) brother. (My sister's no here 'cause she's down in Guelph at uni, living in sin w/her b/f.)
As for marrying D... It was YOUR idea, not mine! Also, he's already circumcised, and that's the most painful part. lol
