Note to self -

Never test BPAL imps (ESPECIALLY limited edition decants) when you're a fucking butterfingers.

Yup. Just spilled the entire imp of October all over me. (and missed the laptop by half an inch.)

Happanes at least once to everyone. It could be worse: could have been a 5ml bottle. XD (Wasn't me doing that, but I've seen several people soak various of their possessions with bottles on the LJ community.)

I just managed to get many, many drops of many things over me when decanting. I SMELL GUD!

I've been very very careful thus far in how I handle the imps, but you know, I should have seen the signs... I dropped that set of imps THREE TIMES before opening the bottle. Ya think I would have figured that one out in advanced....

Thankfully, yes, it wasn't a 5ml, but I'm sure I'll rise to that occasion. It's just too bad it takes a month to get an order to replace things. *sigh* And I have three bottles I want to order too....

*snort* Actually, I very well could. The vial I spilled on me has a very wet-green scent (like cut grass after it rains.)

Imps are 1ml test sample vials of bpal perfume oils.

At least on skin it will probably wash off in a day or two. The time I knocked over about half an imp of Dove's Heart, I was smelling it on the desk for weeks afterwards. And my Canadian pusher tells horror stories of spilling most of a 5ml of Bess and getting wafts of it coming from the linoleum for MONTHS...

Most of it spilled onto my jeans, so they'll be getting washed. But I can say that it got into my hair and I HAD to take a shower. It wasn't necessarily that it was bad - it was just horrendously strong. A tiny bit got on the couch, but that's not the first time (that group that you sent me that had the little bit of leakage made the arm of the couch smell incense-y for a month. XD)

As a matter of fact I just got a whiff of it. XD
