FUCK.

ME.

YES.

I lost it at Kenneth "Hamlet Was A Bitch" Branaugh, and still haven't stopped.

My new goal is to work the phrase "apologize to French penis" into my daily life. I shall keep you updated on the results.

You know how some people get totally wild about "NINE WAS MY DOCTOR," "ELEVEN WAS MY DOCTOR," etc?

I feel that way about Henry V. KENNETH IT'LL ALWAYS BE YOU BABY~~!

GLORIOUS.

ALL OF IT.

I wish my history classes in school had been like this. I've read the entire thing from part 1 and lost it so many times.

I also have no fucking idea how Joan of Arc did what she did, militarily. Does anyone?

Also, you are a pro for sticking to it ha! until the very end. And even more badass for agreeing to do the ONE HUNDRED MOTHERFUCKING YEARS WAR. I know it was a demand by your friend, but still. Most other people would have just chickened out and said hell no.

Along a similar vein, please be doing more of these in the future. ;D

Well, the facts of what Joan did are all available for anyone to look up, but...I have no idea why any of it worked. It really shouldn't have. If you're not of a "yeah sure saints why not" bent, then she was ridiculously lucky.

Along a similar vein, please be doing more of these in the future. ;D

I dunno, I'd consider it! The next time I need to hand out a prize. XD

I read a book on Agincourt recently-ish so I was looking forward to this part the most.

Godlike.

*standingovation*

Favorite line of it all:

"Joan went and found the Dauphin, Charles VII, who was super busy being useless and indecisive."

God, I always hated that stupid Dauphin, even back during history classes.

SO WAR OF ROSES NEXT Y/Y?

IMMA WAITING IMPATIENTLY!
NO PRESSURE OF COURSE!

OH JESUS CHRIST THE WARS OF THE ROSES WOULD BE IMPOSSIBLE XDDDD but yeah I'd totally do it if people wanted me to. It's like the Lakers and the Celtics thing from the 80s, only...not.

OMGLOLZ, awesome! though finding Kenneth Branagh after reading this

"just finished putting down some Irish/Scottish/Welsh insurgency"

made me snort on my juice. And the part with the 'coming up with the roses'....let's just say, it took a good headdesk and a double take to actually read the text in context again...I think Francis's Frenchiness rubbed off on me. =.=

BTW, I REALLY LOVE the rpg-ish card for Jeanne D'Arc and Henry V and a big THANK YOU and hugs from me for completing this. I have finally succeeded in understanding the 100 Years War because of this.-heroic pose- -can't ever keep her eyes open for the text book-

Gosh, I really do feel bad for leaving it as long as I did, but I'm really glad I finished it too! All the famous stuff happens in this bit! XD
