A question though, why is the fleur-de-lys embedded on the cloth of his armor? AS far as I understand, it wasn't used by the English 'till later on. Or am I FAILING again? >o

I'm pretty sure the fleur-de-lis has been used in English heraldry since at least the 1200s. I know the Norroy coat of arms has one.
